It feels like the Jazz' bigs have leashes on when to and when not to shoot. Kanter gets the ball 4 seconds on the clock at the free throw line and doesn't even think about shooting.

And I'm not a huge fan or running a play JUST to get into a pick and roll situation. If that play can yield an inside pass for a layup, shouldn't you be LOOKING for that? This is professional basketball. You should expect your players to be able to learn the complexities of the game.
