What's new

Nov 9 2019 - UTAH JAZZ vs TORONTO RAPTORS CGT

I'm starting to get why the millers were so reluctant to rebuild properly by bottoming out.

Y'all can't handle it. Most probably can't.

I'm excited about the youth but this is worse then I could have possibly imagined. The lowly Raptors are taking it to the Jazz. Are we the new Bobcats? Everything points to the fact that we are. Sad really.

I'm still a Jazz fan and I know that this is what I asked for the last few seasons. I will still watch and support this team.

Gobert is the only one who truly seems to disrupt shots in the lane anymore. Kanter and Favors just aren't big enough.

How it could be we don't have neither defensive schemes nor offensive so speak of. Hell, I've seen more organised teams in Sunday amateur leagues. It's unbelievable. You can't simply put it on players as we have a lot of talent on the court.

Many of these same guys looked better last year playing together as the 2nd unit. They look like a team that doesn't know what they're doing and like they don't care.

WTF are you talking about? Rebuilding properly doesn't mean playing like you don't give a ****. Even the lowly Bobcats played with more attitude last year.

I think most thought the youth would hang in there and the bench would blow the lead. So far it's just been a horrible team. At least that's how I felt. I admmited I wasn't ready for the Riggins for Wiggins.

I'm now convinced the players are literally trying to get Ty fired. I'm being serious.

I think the biggest problem is that the Jazz players all lack confidence shooting the ball. All the guys we gave up from last year--Mo, Foye, Jefferson and Millsap--could shoot the ball with confidence. Our guys look like they don't want to shoot the ball at all, and they're throwing it away by forcing passes. The vets may not have played defense or rebounded as well as we'd want, but they could at least shoot. We had 4 or 5 players on the floor that had to be respected.

Our guys can't really shoot. The shooting percentages speak for themselves.

I know this looks really bad. 4th game in 5 nights for guys not used to playing a lot of minutes. On the road were young teams always suck. Im not surprised by this.

If we play like this at home next week then I well start to complain

You know what concerns me? Is why aren't we feeding it into the post anymore? I know it's Alfense, but we have a great post player in Kanter. Geez the few games Favors posted up he made great passes to the slashing man. Why have we gone away from this? We settle for jumpers and 1x1 play. Makes me wonder if the game plan is purposely a part of the tank.

And the other 3?

Man just an awful effort. Why is it that other teams can find shooters but the Jazz can't. Just way too many turnovers and poor shooting. The rebounding needs to improve. Kanter has 1 rebound and Favors 4 rebounds. Seriously Rudy plays limited minutes and he has two. Favors defense is overrated.
