What's new

Nov 9 2019 - UTAH JAZZ vs TORONTO RAPTORS CGT

Look guys, what's important here is that we don't let the team's massive loser movement affect our personal lives in an adverse way.

Go hug your wife and your kids (if you have kids) and take more of an interest in what they have going on in their lives.

Enes Kanter = one of the worst defensive rebounding big men in the league?
I want Burks out of here. Not only is he a bad shooter, but he is also selfish and a chucker.
Hansbrough = Allstar??
Gobert farts = two fouls

He had 4 assists tonight, isn't he the 3rd assist leader on the team?

Also stop wishing bad habits for the youth. Like ball hogging.

Burks scored 17 points on 10 shots. He's a really valuable player because he draws so many fouls, and despite his iffy shot selection he's actually a very efficient scorer on most nights.

Ya he always has had this chucker label from some people despite the fact that he passes as much as anybody on the team.

If ya wanna criticize burks then criticize his shot selection (takes too many long two's) or his inability to fight through screens, or his free throw percentage (though he was 7 of 8 tonight)

He is not a ball hog though

Also one of those shots was a buzzer beater from about 70 feet that almost went in.... so he really only had 9 field goal atempts which was by far the least of the core 4

LOL! So what's the excuse for all of the other awful performances on this road trip?

That we are a poor road team. I expect less then 5 wins on the road. Now if we are getting beat terribly at home, then that's an even bigger problem.

I am thrilled. The C4 and Gobert showing good potential. The rest of the team is garbage well duh! That was by design!!!

Enough with all the PG criticism. We don't even have active PGs worth criticizing.

The C4 all have areas to improve, clearly. But they have also all shown good promise and will continue to improve.

I'd like to see Kanter and Favors come out with the mentality to dominate the game and score 30 points a piece. They both seem a bit passive.

Off topic but wow Paul George is good. He's turning into a favorite player of mine to watch. No sour grapes. But it is

I'm not really sure what's to be thrilled about. The only reason the C4 are showing "good potential" is because they're the only players on the team even scoring. Somebody has to score. Favors and Kanter are both scoring at a low efficiency rate for bigs, are not rebounding well, and are inexplicably awful defensively as well.

It's alarming. Give us a couple good FA's and there's still really no difference between us and the Sacramento Kings of the past several years.

Of course.

But I don't think many bad teams let the other team get up by 30.

It's one thing to lose. It's another to not even compete.

Hayward is excelling and Burks is showing growth in the 6th man role. Kanter is an elite offensive rebounder, Gobert is a rebounding shot altering force. Favors and Kanter assist at a decent rate so far. Kanter has had a high FG and FT % until this last game. Favors has decent rebounding. Hayward and Burks continue to assist at a decent rate despite having **** talent around them outside the bigs.

But hey the sky is falling. Make sure you get all the pieces.

Yeah, the team just needs to add a couple guys who can really shoot.

TOs are down, FT% is up, Hayward looked good, Favors and Kanter look to be improving, Burks had a decent game. We won the second half. (Some of which was garbage time of course.) I'm hoping more of these losses lead to a Corbin firing.
