Nov 9 2019 - UTAH JAZZ vs TORONTO RAPTORS CGT

Utah Jazz the weakest team in the NBA. There may be a few young players with talent, but if that is all the asset you have, you are far short as a team of the strength level needed in NBA. There are four, max five, players that should be on NBA roster, and none among them is anything special. Whoever are responsible for designing this roster to arrive at this point after departure of Millsap and Big Al have done a horrible job. The Jazz will be a bottom five team for the foreseeable future.

Nope.

I get the Jazz aren't supposed to be good this year. I can accept that.

This loss however is one of the most embarrassing losses I've seen. It's just mind numbingly bad.

It's not just the loss. It's the fact they played like a team that will lose from start to finish. They looked like they couldn't care less. I got angry watching that game. I'm paying for cable subscription to watch THAT (I don't watch TV)?

While we are getting blown out by everybody, look at what Hornacek is doing.

Are the suns really that much more talented?
I wouldn't have thought so but looking once the season has started maybe they're closer or even better than we thought. Also yes I would've loved to keep Horny here but obviously looking at their PG spot it's heads and shoulders better than what the Jazz have and unfortunately Favors isn't out performing Plumlee so far this season.

Burks might be better and any single player coming off there bench but overall the Suns bench has more depth and quality players than the Jazz currently do, maybe that changes once the Jazz get healthy, we'll have to see.

I would really appreciate if someone would explain to me all this stuff about Wiggins is about. Lets assume that the Jazz are really as horrific all season as they have been up till now, assume we get a great draft pick and that pick is Wiggins. What then? We become instant winners? Chances that Wiggins or any other player you care to name is going to make a great pro are not that good. That we expect this player to reach superstar status almost immediately is ludicrous. We have done this thing (rebuild) and we must now be patient for at least two more seasons before there is even a chance of seeing meaningful improvement. Those who feel we are going to be better once we get "healthy" are really out there. Who is going to get healthy and make a difference? Burke has shown indications that he will struggle this year ( that he will be an improvement on the status quo, i concede ) but he will be far away from helping this team play well this year. As far as Jeremy Evans goes its obvious that he will be of little help. My point about Wiggins is this.... look at what was expected of Burke out of the starting gate by most who post here! And we have learned nothing.. we still expect that the next draft pick will make this team legitimate. That player plus Burke plus the core 4 or 5 (your choice) plus two more years and the Jazz have a chance of improving to a playoff team. Say what!!! We were very close to being a playoff team before we self destructed. But that wasn't enough success to make us happy we want to be a contender. The future that was envisioned by rebuilding is far from a sure thing. All this talk about tanking and getting that player who puts us over the top is just that, talk! It could happen, that draft choice could be the next "LeBron" and impact this team far greater than anyone can foresee. But expecting that to happen is just foolish. What can we do? Stay true, that's all. Or, you could become a Nets fan.

So all gold medals and MVP titles of international championships JV won means nothing even if Kanter never won anything ( well he won one MVP title and 1 bronze medal compared to 3 golds, 3 mvp titles and 1 silver for JV )? Europe basketball media experts who voted him two years in a row as best European young player ( ahead of Kanter ) are stupid and know nothing about basketball?
It is just impossible to have normal discussion with you when you ignore facts and trying to base your opinion on 7 games in regular season.

And he still dominated him always they played each other.
Kanter had bad teammates on his team and he almost got the wins, by his own. Have you seen, the new turkish Generation in Europe ? Kerem Kanter is not even close the player his brother is and they really have no special BIG-MAN on their roster, but the first special guard prospect for years Kenan Spahi ,who is really long for a PG,with other solid talents around him, carried them to european Titel. Kanter playing with this gruop would have destroyed every european competition on that age group.

7 Games were Kanter plays, without being on shape. Kanter always proved in the NBA, that he is scoring on elite Level so he has something special, but JV always struggled in the NBA. Thats JV second season as a starter and he is not doing well enough. Kanters talent has no limit right now, we have to see what he is capable about.

I don't know what you smoking seriously. JV always struggled in NBA? So rookie of the month in March is struggle? He posted best TS% in all NBA as a rookie last season, how come is that struggle? Kanter always dominated? BS - he dominated one game 4 years ago, get over it, yesterday was good example who was dominating.

Jonas and Kanter aren't that much alike anymore. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Favor's game is closer to JVs, they both project to be defensive oriented 15/10/2 type guys in their primes.

Averaging more points than FGAs as an SG isn't considered efficient scoring now?
Look at FG%, TS%, Points per possession on the various shot types from synergy sports, etc. He's been well below average, especially for a shooting guard. Points per field goal attempt is a terrible measure, as it overvalues players who go to the line (since shooting fouls use possessions, just like field goal attempts). He's below average in points per shot anyway.

Unfortunately, I can't return the neg rep...I must've negged one of your other worthless posts too recently.

I stsnd corrected. See how much easier it is to give a real response than just a "Nope"?

Jonas has way more offensive game then Favors. Favors is better shot blocker and rebounder.
