Nuggets interested in George Hill if they can dump Faried/Arthur

I've thought this off-season we needed shooting and rebounding. I wanted Manimal but now that we picked up Rubio it really hurts us on the shooting.. and we still lack rebounding (unless they unleash teh Bolomboy which I fully support [but doubt they do]). What I would do is offer to swap Burks for Manimal. Same contract size and length but balances their team a bit more, plus does not enable them to sign Hill.

I'm not worried about Hill staying in the division, but I'd want something of value for facilitating his acquisition. I'd probably do Burks for Faried strait up, or Hill for Faried and an asset back.

No to faried. I'd take Arthur Barton or Chandler in a second doe. They may be able to send faried to Atlanta in a sign and trade... other than that I can't see a great place for him.

If Faried had a good attitude and was willing to be a bench guy I could talk myself into him. Everything I've heard is that he's a total princess.

Geez, George Hill seems to have made a massive blunder by not accepting what Utah offered during the season. I understand why he didn;t take it at the time, I think, but in retrospect, good grief. What an error.

George Hill is the perfect fit next to Lonzo Ball though. Ball doesnt have a prayer at guarding the elite PG's in the West, would get absolutely annihilated. Hill gives them a guy who can play off-ball, space the floor, slash, and guard the other team's PG.

I think the toe has an arthritic condition. Someone indicated it... I feel bad for him but that is why you don't bet $80M to maybe get 100-130M... when the alternative is you may get... ****... I have no idea what he gets. His only real hope is Sacramento does a 4/50-60 or Denver does a deal on a sign and trade.

I feel a little bad for him, but it was idiotic. We were sitting there with 13M to give him that damn day... it would be in his bank account right now. He was having a career year and just blew it.

But like a one year deal... they won't do anything beyond that. Sorry George.

Maybe. They also might strikeout on getting George/Lebron and end up offering him a long-term deal next year.

Yeah, it sucks for his career stability, but it's a great fit in terms of basketball. His value might drop a bit, but I think it's a good situation for him to look good and help a young team learn to win.

It's better than going to the Knicks on a 3 year deal IMO.

You shouldn't feel bad he thought of himself over our team!

As he should... as they all should. They have to take care of them and their families. Where i feel bad is he had an opportunity to lock in generational money and passed going for a little too much. He seems like a good guy. I don't view it as selfish to try and get the best deal you can... he just had irrational confidence on this and it hurt him.

His agent blows. He fired his agent in December and just started using his long-time financial adviser as an agent who just became certified in January. The guy has no ties to the NBA and owners probably worry about dealing with new guys as their is no trust factor.

I really thought he would have gotten a big contract though, so much **** happened that was unpredictable that led to this, so I really don't blame his agent that much.
