What's new

O'Connor: Jazz could hire big man coach soon.

What about the utes old coach Boylen? Wasn't he the big's coach for Houston for Olajuwon and Yao Ming. He's coached some of the best in the game as far as bigs go.

He also coached Washburn and Foster at the Utes.
They tore it up.

We might want to give him some time to recover before throwing him into the fire.

You are not awe inspired by the amazing record Lowe put up?

I actually kind of was because I actually recognized his name. I didn't have a clue who he was but I knew I had heard the name before. That was more than I had expected.

Lets hope he does not wear his red suits now that he is with the Jazz.

Patrick Ewing would be an unlikely, but very good choice with his playing and big man coaching experience and our inexperienced and young big guys.

Ewing, huh? Interesting. I had to look up his coaching career given that I wasn't sure if he had bounced around the league as a coach. I only recall him coaching the Magic, and sure enough, that's the only place he's coached. Has Howard's lack of offensive polish come because of poor coaching, inability, or lack of desire from Howard? Still, an intriguing prospect. As you said, however, it's unlikely to happen.

Olojuwan is a pipe dream, but a great one.

I think they should bring in Malone as the strength and conditioning coach and just leave him in the weight room. He beats the **** out of anyone who walks in there and in half a season our entire team looks like this guy.

I hope that picture isn't real.

It's a joke that they haven't brought one in before. Fes could have used one. Any center we have ever had could have used one. I always looked at fes like he has a lot of potential. Due to his size and pretty good athleticism. But when he was on the court it seemed like no one had taught him anything. It seems this club is always behind the curve

Zombie Robert Tractor Trailer.... He's on the cheap and only requires human flesh as payment.

Whoever it is, I'll keep an open mind. Many times the best coaches were not necessarily the best players. Great players can often get by on just their natural talent or athletic ability and they often don't have a clue how to "teach" skills. On the other hand, many average players are/were able to stay in the league because they concentrate on the fundamentals and they can more rea.
