Oni needs first team all-nba level type of defense to make up for his hole on offense, which is something I don't see happening. He's more like +0.5 drtg and -3 ortg for a combined net rating of -2.5

Butler is a man amongst boys out there. Reminds me of Donovan playing in summer league in 2017

not playing the same position technically. Butler is a PG-only so he's behind Conley, DM, JC and even Jingles in the depth chart. Things could change though, if we rest Conley more.

Dok, Hughes, Fitts and Butler looked like ball players. Say goodbye to Alston and Bolden. Good win by the fellas. Elsewhere Dallas beat the Hornets by almost 70 points and Sam Merrill had a 30 point game.

Makes no sense. Physically they are close enough for defensive assignments at that level (3rd string) and Butler is far far more versatile in every way, and is showing signs of being a better defender. Offensively it isn't close. If Oni gets the call because they don't want Butler and Ingles on the floor together because of some stupid depth-chart then Snyder should be double-fired.
