It's not contusion, it's confusion. Why no one can't get it righ

Not really. Lauri had two bad shooting games, with half of them fga's being last seconds hand grenades dropped to him.

Keynote again, shot badly whole season and now more.
Lauri is still shooting 56 TS% on the year despite having a bad start to the season outside of game 1 and is a proven all-star.

Keyonte is at 37 TS% and is taking the most shots on the team at 15 FGA per game.

I don't think it's a conspiracy why people are skeptical of Keyonte's efficiency and future. He's had some flashes, but so did Trey Burke. I'm still hopeful, but man he has a lot of red flags

Yep. Then again he's basically on the start of his 2nd season only. I'm more worried of his shot selection than if he'd become a decent shooter. I think the mechanics look decent but he has taken quite a lot of bad shots for someone of his splits. Just like THT did, although that was much worse+he is years older too.

If things look down in few months with Keynote, it's a worry time.

He tries to force things occasionally, outside of that I don’t see anything. The visible gap between him and Burke at that stage is massive imo.

I missed this one as I had to wake up early and drive 3 hours to work at another site.

Seems like it may be worthwhile to fast forward most of the replay and only watch Flip and Sensabaugh minutes?

Also last year and college.
The sample size of keyonte having really bad efficiency is much larger than Lauri

Idk how long Lauri will be back, but he’ll be fine. He’s still at league average efficiency because of his free throws and he’s only shooting 25% at the hoop. His 3 point shooting and FT attempts will regress to the mean a bit, but his shooting at the rim will also rebound in the same way. He’s the same player….just has some cringy ISO’s mixed in there which is good for this season.

valid. I like his offensive instincts. He had a mismatch over derozan and he scored over him. His passing and ball handling looks natural. A better Olynyk
Exactly. Last season we had a winning stretch where we ran a front court of Lauri/KO/Walker and it really worked. Having a playmaking big like KO/Filip takes the load off our guards as well just like what Jokic/Sabonis have been doing for their teams. So Murray/Fox can focus on attacking the basket more instead of running the offense which they aren't really good at.

Hmm I wasn't active on here back in 2014, but at least in my own circle the optimism for Burke was huge back then, and looking at their rookie stats (obviously not everything) it is shocking how similar they are except Burke had more assists and fewer turnovers. It was a pretty bad race, but Burke finished 3rd for ROY. Burke came in with winning pedigree that a lot of us leaned back on.

Physically, Keyonte is a much better prospect. He's got better size and length. He also doesn't have the track record that Burke came in with. And I am still optimistic, it's only been 4 games this season. But at least I haven't seen a massive gap when just comparing rookie/sophomore Burke to Keyonte. IDK

Ya I'm not worried at all about Lauri. He is a stud
