Offensive Behavior

I approve this necro-bump because I get to be reminded that that derelict piece of **** is banned. Feels good.

So in effect you ban people in order to avoid offending people who don't post on the board?

If a poster manages to accumulate the requisite number of infractions within a six month time frame for a suspension or ban, I have to ask myself why it is that they find it so difficult to follow the rules that 99% of the others are able to follow with little difficulty.

And yes, in trying to create a message board community that follows certain standards I think we take into account how the posts might be interpreted by anyone who reads them, and some of those readers may not be logged-in or even registered members.

I'll bet you look good in tights, by the way...

;-)

I like how Hopper's mind works. It is like it is running circles around the mind's of everyone else.

Are you bored and reading all threads and posts on Jazzfanz, or do you already know the threads you are looking for somehow?
I'm just curious how you run across a thread that hasn't been posted in for 6 months.
I guess I don't really care, but I find it strange.

Hopper was out there in front of everybody to say Hello the first couple of days she was here. Hey, interesting avatar and nice quote for a sig. Strange and "Inconceivable". I really liked that little mental duel of the chessboard in that flick.

Where we came from, it was commonplace for folks to resurrect threads from deep in the archives. In fact, there is a dude back there who's just found(in his personal computer memory banks, no less) a pic of a poster he had a crush on before she got banned over two years ago, which he is sporting as an avatar, claiming to be a "relief society president", while he goes on attacking the many long-departed vanquished. I think it's probably a case of internet necromancy.

I liked Hopper, too. but I'm curious. He did this thread in June, after starting out in here in May, 2010? As newbies who just wanna see what has gone down in here, it's necessary to look up some old threads sometimes. Afterall, this forum really does have a pretty sparse offering of topics fresh on any day, maybe less than ten on average, and a lot of them just are not very interesting. Sorta goes with the territory I think of having a close knit little circle of VSPs.

I'm thinking about the "inconceivable!" angles here. I bet you will never know this mystery. I've had three cryptic negreps threatening me against "kissing up to the Mods". I guess there's a rite of passage in here all fledglings hafta pass before becoming accepted as "one of the boys" but some who have kissed the ring are now twisted freaks who are obsessed with self-loathing.

Inconceivable, indeed.

babe, Im finding you to be incredibly sensitive. Is this part of your nature or am I mischaracterizing you?

Perhaps just not insensitive enough to like what I find going on sometimes. Or, perhaps, just not sensitive enough to think it necessary to just go along with it.

I second that!

And I can't help but wonder in what guise the lurker will turn up next. Ainthopper perhaps, in the hopes we won't know it is really him practicing poorly wrought ebonics? I suppose it won't be long and we shall see.

And can you believe I got a negrep (unsigned of course - cowards) for my necro-bump image? I happen to like Batman and Robin and thought it was kinda funny. Get a sense of humor whoever you are!

The last time he was banned, on the old baord, he did not return. I don't think he will this time, either.

Ironic that you say that, hopper.

Good call. The similarities are striking. I think at some point in the near future, Wikileaks will release a cable that will implicate TrollBrow as the hack behind many a usernames here on JF.

There was a complete board reboot in 2010 so everyone has joined dates from that year. Hopper, like many board members, were actually members of a previous incarnation of jazzfanz dating back many years. I'm an 04 vintage, I think Hopper was an 06 or 07 originally.
