Official ★☆★☆ 2013 BPA Big Boards

Numbering doesn't really matter within tiers

Tier 1: Dudes who will be beast
1. Porter
2. Noel

Tier 2: Dudes who could be pretty good starters
3. Len
4. McLemore
5. Oladipo
6. Burke

Tier 3: Dudes who are not as good as tier 2, but slightly sexier than tier 3.
7. Bennet
8. McCollum
9. Zeller

Tier 4: Meat of the draft is in here, lots of good dudes who have a range of potential.
10. Olynk
11. MCW
12. Shabazz
13. KCP
14. Adams
15. Plumlee
16. Larkin
17. Karasev
18. Giannis
19. Schroeder
20. Gobert

Tier 5: Dudes with potential to be good role-players

22. Hardaway Jr.
23. Mitchell
24. Whithey
25. Canaan
26. Rice Jr.
27. Wolters
28. Franklin
29. Pierre Jackson

Tier 6: Dudes who probably suck
Everyone Else

Okay I'll do one:

Tier One
Nerlens Noel (elite athlete, elite quickness and feel)

Tier Two
Ben McLemore (pretty close to Beal)
Victor Oladipo (Kenneth Faried on the perimeter)
Otto Porter (glue guy with a quiet game; athleticism a bit soft for the league; if he gets stronger he could be a poor man's Grant Hill.)
Trey Burke (smart, skilled, fiery, needs a pick but so what)
Steven Adams (give him 2 years and he's 15/11/2)
Giannis Adetokunbo (great length and feel for the game; would go higher in the draft if he measured at the Combine)
Cody Zeller (will make it as a PF, a bit of a sleeper like Kevin Love was)
CJ McCollum (I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he can be like Deron Williams.)
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (well rounded SG)

Tier Three
Alex Len (I'm not buying that he's elite. Bigs like that often look good in college when there's no one to match them physically, and he didn't look that great)
Anthony Bennett (not quite enough motor and quickness to make it as a power 3, rendering him a bit of a tweener)
Michael Carter-Williams (overrated length, overrated athleticism, needs to improve his feel and change of pace)
Kelly Olynyk (more all-around game than Mehmet Okur, so...)
Gorgui Dieng (will defend, will rebound, will score in the post)
Archie Goodwin (he'll learn to shoot better, then watch out; athletic, skilled and mentally tough)
Shabazz Muhammad (needs to re-invent himself at the pro level, but has the tools to do it.)
Glen Rice Jr. (I'd like to see Shabazz and GR Jr. workout next to each other)
Sergey Karasev (the Russian version of Chris Mullen)

Tier Four
Dennis Schroeder (has everything to prove, but has the raw talent to jump to Tier 2)
Tony Snell (is the Dennis Schroeder of swingmen; talent, but needs to develop and prove it)
Tim Hardaway Jr. (could be Tier 3, but has to prove it)
Erick Green (will score off the bench)

There are several players I'll add/update later.

That Steven Adams slot is pretty high. I didn't know you thought that much of him. I went the opposite way with him. Thats the big difference in ours. I don't have a real good reason for dropping him other than someone has to bust. So I chose him by gut feeling. We'll see if it was that burrito I ate, or I have super gut instincts

I look at the skill level of the players across the board and it's pretty damn weak. I look at Adams' raw upside and his hugeness and determined that average role players may not be the better risk/reward over a dude like Adams. Not much science, just grit.

Ya I don't blame ya. Typing a whole paragraph about a subject you have spent no time on would take forever.

Makes you sound like a hypocrit tbh...

Btw won't post a big board, as I don't watch too much collegebasketball and have no interest to spend my day finding footage of the lower level talent and having to rewatch every footage due to facepalming issues. Thus I'll just admit that I don't have the experience with these kids to make deeper conclusion BASED ON ANALYSIS for 40 of them.
Maybe next year..

Uh ...wut?

Makes your comprehension skills look awful tbh

Sorry for that in case of a misunderstanding. But the way I understood it was you ripped Core4 for not having the intel, time and guts to create a big board while you admitted to PKM that you did no research on Adams to grade him that low.

Dude's got a point, Hack.

Fail # 1. I never said I did no research on Adams. Just said I didn't have a good reason.

Fail # 2. You decided to make a comment without knowing the history on this board. I made my comment to core4 in sarcasm. He spends hours and hours writing paragraph after paragraph about the draftees.

Fail # 3. PKM agreeing with you. When out of all people, he should have got the sarcasm.

So to say I was being a hypocrite, when it did not apply at all, is where you failed.
