Official 2012-13 Injury Thread

Wish i knew how bad currys ankle is.

Is he missing pre-season games for pre-caution?.... will he play in the opener? (he is on my fantasy team, otherwise i would care)

Manu Ginobili appears to having back issues based on this tweet:

Mike Monroe: @manuginobili won't travel to New Orleans for opener; back to be reassessed Thursday Twitter @Monroe_SA

Jason Smith on the Hornets may miss the season opener with a strained shoulder. Joel Anthony of the Heat has a hamstring injury and will miss their season opener.

Andrew Bogut went through a complete, full-contact practice for the first time in 9 and a half months and is close to returning.

Lamar Odom has missed two weeks with a bone bruise in his knee, but plans to play in the Clippers' season opener.

I've read in a few places that the minimum amount of time Amar'e will be out is 6 weeks total. He's already been out what, a week or two?

Did NY already use their amnesty? Refresh my memory.

The Knicks amnestied Billups to free up the cap space to acquire Tyson Chandler in the sign-and-trade with the Mavs. That's how Billups ended up with the Clippers (they got him off the amnesty waiver wire).

It's all coming back to me now.

Everyone was saying it was a bad idea because they should've saved it for when they needed to use it on Amare.

I'm post this here and in the UGLI forum, but Danny Granger is out indefinitely and will get another opinion on his knee.

Steve Nash has a leg bruise and is listed as doubtful for the Lakers' game against the Clippers tomorrow.

Josh Robbins: Hedo Turkoglu has a broken left hand, #Magic officials just announced. Twitter @JoshuaBRobbins
