Pretty sure Locke said something similar about Kanter before we got him with #3, for whatever that's worth.

I don't think Oubre is a good fit character wise. Lyles more upside than Portis IMO.

Lyles should be a much better defender with his agility and length.

Really seems like some of these late-round teams just want to clear salary; I'd really like to see us package some of these 2nd's to move up and snag someone like Hunter/Looney.

I like many others said "anyone but Lyles" many times in these forums. I thought the odds of him getting picked were minuscule.


Well, welcome to Utah Trey. I trust Dennis more than I trust my own instincts, so I'm hoping that this high IQ stuff is a reality (always nice having high IQ bigs on a team).
