The big factor with Hoiberg is that he went from the NBA to college, most coaches do it the other way around.

Based on what I've seen and read, I would have no problem with hiring Hoiberg.

It should also be known that I don't know jack **** about basketball.
 
Sean Miller is without a doubt, one of the best coaches in college basketball. Dude almost always has super solid teams.

Yeah, I see the similarities between him and Calipari, but he doesn't go out of his way to recruit only 1-and-dones.
 
Hoiberg is better suited for the NBA.

You guys can be funny all u want.. but the biggest reason is he is a chill/cool dude. Pro players will better respond to his demeanor than that of Calipari's... as Cal is way more berating to his guys. Doesn't go over well in the NBA.

Also, as far as Cal's NBA tenure (not that I give a damn, mind you), it's well documented that he came in and immediately turned the corner with the Nets... but his players soon turned on him. It wasn't his coaching but his demeanor.
