I have no doubt that Sloan and Deron had some issues. I also believe that may have played a part in Sloan's decision. But to say that Williams strong armed Sloan out is just ridiculous. Nobody could force Sloan to step down except his boss - The Millers and/or KOC. I personally am choosing to take Sloan's word for it and accept that it was something creeping into his mind over time and he finally pulled the trigger. I'm sure it had an almost limitless number of circumstances behind it and the attitude of players was probably somewhere close to the top of that list.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, hoping for the best is not allowed. I find it interesting that the most optimistic person in this thread is also an atheist. lol.

I'm a firm believer in God and I'm somewhat optimistic. At the same time I am really sad that it had to end like this. Thus, the religion question is a wash.

;)

We should be getting behind the team at a time like this. Sloan choose to step down, and it probably was because of chemistry issues with Deron and a few other players. But Deron did not strong arm him out.

If in December and January DWill played like he did in November, Jerry would still be here. DWill refused to run though and took control of the team via his passiveness.

He got what he wanted imo. If he now plays like he did in November and takes over games, then yeah he's a bitch.

Because you're a moron.

Why?

If you want to talk about stuff, dude, then do.

I mean, I'm sure some of the guys reporting stuff in the media "know" more about what happened or what's going on then we do for the fact that they've been there, or talked to more reliable sources than guys like Numberica and you, sir. Just saying.

If DWill played like he did in November ever, Jerry would still be here. DWill refused to run though and took control of the team via his passiveness.

Great, so he's damned either way. If williams plays well that means he was dogging it (even though his stats stayed equal). If he plays poorly then he is a crappy player.

Gimme a break.

Oh, it couldnt be that Corbin is going to be a good coach and that the team is going to stick together despite Sloan leaving. It's because Deron wanted Sloan gone, so he stopped playing as good as he did in November. Deron is too clever.

Read your post that I responded to. Anyone who comes to conclusions based on what they "feel" about a situation they're completed detached from is a moron. I stand by my post.

In December he averaged 23 & 9 on .479 .380 .842 shooting.

In January he averaged 21 & 9.5 on .457 .352 .868 shooting.

Dude comes to play more nights than everyone else on the team. Y'all will be singing a different tune when the team is filled with players with Big Al's heart.

I wasn't impressed.

Red 3 standing by.

No. I just feel DWill had a lot to do with the resignation of a legend. I don't think it's all Deron's fault at all but, I do put blame on him.

"feel"

that sums up how you came to your conclusions. Ignoring the facts. Way to go, GUY!

Archie always needed an excuse to complete his circle of Williams hate. Now he has it.

Yes I think Deron had a part in it, but no more than Malone, Ostertag, Giracek, etc. had parts in it. I think Jerry was just worn down and didn't want to go through the battles anymore that coaches have to go through with players.

Let's PLEASE not blame this on Deron or boo him or whatever. Why run him out of town?

It's Sloan, he's put up with a lot of **** from a lot of players that we may not even know about. Personally, the team wasn't buying into his system anymore. He's not just going to up and quit because He and Deron got into some type of scuffle at halftime over a play Deron didn't run. These sources are retarded and until I hear personally from some one who was actually there, I will believe what happened. Until then, hearing about, "Yeah my brothers friends cousins ex brother in law is one of the guys that throws those Chevron balls out during timeouts. He heard everything. Deron was like, 'You're a punk Sloan' and Sloan was like, 'No I'm not! Respect your coach' and then they started shoving eachother.' And that's why Sloan quit."

You realize some of my posts were being sarcastic, right? I haven't come a "absolute" conclusion on what happened. However, I do feel and have seen DWill's attitude and I have an opinion on that. If the stuff is true, it's really sad to me. This is a discussion board, guy. When stuff is saying Sloan and DWill almost threw, you bet your bottom buck I'm going to have an opinion on it, cause it's fun.
