Saw a new recipe I am going to try.
Frogmore Stew:
- 1/4 Cup Seafood Seasoning (Such as Old Bay) or to taste
- 5 Lbs. Red potatoes
- 3 (16 Oz.) packages Cooked keilbasa, Cut into 1 inch slices
- 8 Ears fresh corn on the cobb, husks and silks removed (i'm gonna cut in half)
- 4 Lbs fresh shrimp, unpeeled
- 1 Beer (optional)
Heat a larg pot of water (with beer if using) over medium high heat or an outdoor cooker. Add seafood seasoning to water and bring to a boil. Add potatoes and kielbasa and cook for 10 min. Then add corn and cook an additional 5 min. Then add shrimp and cook an additional 3-4 min. Remove from heat, drain, eat.
That looks like a perfect get together meal to eat outside on a nice summer evening. I'm so trying this. I'm gonna have some lemon wedges to the side.
