I put $100 on the Astros covering the spread at +175, so I'm glad Friers used that pine tar.

Dodgers proving that 300 million doesn't buy you a whole lot of firepower.
Baseball is actually kind of exciting now that the Astro's mostly choked September and now every game is super important.
McCullers (best young pitcher in baseball) had a nice clutch start for the W last night while Texas lost to Detroit. Hopefully Texas can fall off these last 2 series.

Chris Carter is going freak HAM this month though. Hitting .385 with 5 HR in 26 AB. Just insane numbers for a dude who was mostly awful all year. 1.505 OPS in September.
