Official NJ Nets Watch

Raptors 2 games back. Wizards 2 back and Sacramento 1/2 back. I still have hope
NJ schedule: Charlotte and @Bulls
Wiz: Boston, @Cleveland
Sac: Tonight @GS,OKC,@Lakers
Raptors: @Bucks, Miami

Charlotte has sucked big time lately. NJ will dash our hopes by winning at home tomorrow, where they've actually played pretty well; they're just a horrible road team.

Maye we're hoping for the wrong scenario. If Golden State wins out (looks like they're going to beat Sacramento) and Utah loses their next two, the Jazz would move into the #11 slot. That increases our chance of getting Jimmer, since you know GS loves under-sized shooters. Just kidding, people..I do not want the Jazz to draft Fredette.

YES!! Now we need to get behind the 'Cats tomorrow.
Dangit; Pacers lost; they still need another W!
Hopefully the Thunder will use up their thunder against the Lakers tonight and be a little flat for the Kings...

Well, I spoke too soon...nice comeback win for the Anaheim Royals.
Still think it will be a tease, because NJ should be a lock at home against Charlotte and the Kings should lose to OKC and the Lakers, but you never know. The Lakers game might be a better chance. It may not mean anything for LA and despite what Phil says, you know Kobe, Bynum and Gasol will play light minutes. Sacramento will be at home, probably the last game ever at Arco Arena (I mean, Power Balance Pavilion)...and they'll want to get a last win for their loyal fans.

NotDeadYet...Indiana doesn't need another win. Because they made the playoffs, they will draft no higher than 15th. Utah, Phoenix and Houston will all draft ahead of them, despite having better records. Phoenix needs another win, though. Hopefully tomorrow against the T-Pups. Then the Jazz just need to split to finish in the 12th spot. The loss by GS means the best they could do is a tie if they win 2 and Utah loses 2. Not likely, though, as they play @ Denver and against Portland.

I doubt the Nets win another game. They may have played better at home but they don't have 3 of their 4 best players, and they only have 5 good players to start with. The Nets are done, hopefully Sacto can surge on for one more game and give us the 5 spot.

We need another Kings win either way. I am worried the Bobcats will lose.

That's what worries me because both OKC and LA are so close with Dallas in that 2-3-4 spot they can't afford to drop a game.

All I can hope is Evans plays like he plays against the jazz and Cousins tries to make a statement in his last games as a rookie

NJ beating Charlotte seems like a forgone conclusion, a D-league team could be Charlotte right now

Finally

New Jersey and Sacramento have identical records. Hope Sacramento passes them, so we can have the 5th pick. Otherwise a coin flip if they finish the season tied. Then may the ping pong balls be good to us for a change.

NJ IS a D-League team. It's up to Lopez, Vujacic and Outlaw, because everyone else is hurt. NJ may only dress 9, and that's counting their back-up PG who has a bruised knee. Charlotte might just have a chance tonight. Let's hope they want to win instead of trying to improve/maintain their lottery position.

I was at the Warriors game last night (rooting for the Kings). I like the way Curry is turning out as a PG.

Make a note, games are won by shooters and interior defense. Marcus Thornton won the game on a cross over and 22 footer. Curry was the game-high scorer and also dished really well, like a mini-D.Will.

Why would the Pacers be of any of our concerns??

Is it sad that I'm getting more excited about the stretch run during a losing season (improving our draft position) than fighting for playoff position?

Either way, I love watching to see if we can keep the #5 spot. Go KINGS!

Does NJ have the tiebreaker over WAS? I've noticed they're only 2 games ahead of them so if NJ loses their last 2 and WAS wins do we jump another slot?
