Sloan had good things to say about Gobert that influenced that move. I'd have him check out all of my workouts. Guy has forgotten more about basketball than most will ever learn in their lifetimes.

now that will be an epic duo.I wonder if Fuquan if loosely related to Furkan Aldemir.

We got another player!
@Tjonessltrib: Hearing rumblings that Stanford forward Josh Huestis will work out for the Utah Jazz on May 8
Looks like we are looking at the #35 spot or potential Undrafted players. Sounds like huestis is a good defender.
Huestis was the primary defender on Andrew Wiggins when Stanford beat Kansas in the tournament, Wiggins had 4points on 1/6 shooting in 34 minutes. Hes also Stanfords all-time leading shotblocker
Wonder what the plans are for Marvin? He wants to return, but it didn't sound like he was too keen on playing PF. Jazz could need to add two SF's with the #23 and #35 (or via free agency). We must really be looking at small forwards, the jazz are brining in Josh Huestis ,from my former school, later this week. I really really like this kid. He's about 6'8 with a 7'1 wingspan and jumps out the gym. Pretty decent three point shooter but very good midrange shooter. The best thing about him is that he is truly a lock down defender. From what I've looked up he was the best defender by a mile at that senior NBA camp they had earlier this month
Heustis should be a late 2nd or UDFA...I wouldn't take him at 35.
Has potential to be a 3 and D player. Unlike the Stanford dude that posted earlier, I've never seen much of a midrange game from him. Can't really dribble well. Great wingspan, good jumping, good shot blocking instincts.
I've been talking about him for a decent bit now, really got sold on him in the tournament.
Sounds like either UDA or if someone like Huestis really impresses, the Jazz could buy a pick later in the 2nd round. I already expect the #35 will be packaged with the #23 to try to move up - or as part of a player trade for a vet.Heustis should be a late 2nd or UDFA...I wouldn't take him at 35.

I'm thinking that #35 and #23 could get us around #16, think it would be worth it?

If McDermott is on the board, I can see this happening.
