Official Player Workouts for the Utah Jazz

"UCLA's Kyle Anderson will work out for the Utah Jazz on June 13.
Syracuse forward C.J. Fair will work out on June 16"

Kyle Anderson is an interesting prospect. I think he could be good, but will have to go to a team that will use his unique skill set the right way.

My main concern with Anderson and the Jazz is, will he need to dominate the ball to be effective?

Trey Alec and Gordon are all more effective with the ball than without it, Anderson would only add to that issue

So which will happen first, the jazz hire a coach or jazz get a top 10 prospect in for a workout?

Coaching hire likely happens after the draft. They've narrowed down the list, but will wait until after the playoffs end to interview Boylen. Have to kick all four tires (Snyder, Griffin, Gentry AND Boylen) before making the final decision.

Perrin already said they don't anticipate getting the top-3 or players in the 12-20 range in for workouts. I'll bet they'll be able to get Vonleh, Gordon, Smart, Randle and McBuckets to work out. If not, no worries. IIRC, Burke didn't come to Utah for a pre-draft workout last year.

Worry? Not me, I'm a new less snarky, less sarcastic mellow. So worry no, wonder yes.

Yeah, and look at how well that turned out for us...

Jeff Goodman's latest 2.0 Mock Draft

6. Boston Celtics -- Aaron Gordon, F, Arizona freshman, 6-9, 220

Several league sources believe that Celtics GM Danny Ainge is locked in on Gordon. While Gordon's shooting is a concern, he is a strong rebounder and shot blocker who can defend either forward spot and has been compared to Shawn Marion. A trade is possible here, too. Ainge is always on the lookout for a make a blockbuster deal, and with Boston's assets he is more than equipped to do so.

Don't worry, he wants to prove you wrong.

That's fine, but talk is cheap.

He lacks the physical attributes to improve that much, and he lacks any elite skills. He's supposed to be a good shooter, but I haven't seen it yet. Decent creator. Terrible defender. He's just meh.

Just wondering, what elite skills does Damian Lillard have?
