Two games ahead of Portland and Sacramento. A losing streak with Burks, Gobert and Favors out could tighten things up. I keep waiting for New Orleans to make a move.

They are starting to pull it together now. They are 5-5 over their last 10. Compare that to 5-16 to start the season.
 
Last night's recap:

ROCKETS LOST!!! YES YES YES YES YES!!!!! HAHAHA suck it Rockets. Nuggets also lost.

Thunder won (no surprise) but unfortunately the Grizz won. So all in all a decent night.

Tonight's Games:

Clippers @ Hornets
Lakers @ Celtics
Jazz @ Wolves
Warriors @ Mavs
Suns @ Spurs (we are not catching the Spurs)
Nuggets @ Blazers (win-win)
76ers @ Kings (Will Cousins be suspended for being Cousins?)


That Rockets loss was huge. Jazz will be right on their tails and the 7th seed if they win tonight. A Grizz loss would have be great as well. Oh well..

Imagine if Gobert, favors, Exum, and Burks were healthy all year.
We would probably right around the 4th spot imo.

Jazz would have won another 5 games IMO. So 18-11ish? That is the 4th seed and right behind the Thunder.

Favors is "questionable" but will travel to Minny.
 
You are doing a good job driving this bus. Repped. Despite the negativity of so many, I still believe the Jazz will make the playoffs. Accomplishing that despite all these injuries is a very big deal. Go Jazz!

Right on! Jazz are bruised and battered and still in this. Everyone is crying over the injuries and the Jazz are edging closer to moving up a spot in the playoffs seeding. Jazz win tonight and they are only a 1/2 game out of 7th and 1 game out of 8th.
 
Some very winnable games coming up even though the Jazz are so banged up. I still believe the Jazz can stay afloat (in the top 8) without Rudy and Alec. Favors needs to return ASAP. PHX looks like they're toast. Portland and Sacramento seem to be the two the Jazz need to worry about the most. I think Denver stinks still.

The bolded are all very winnable games. Jazz are capable of going 9-1 over that stretch. I think 6-4 is more likely due to injury but this team is capable of 9-1.

If Gobert isn't back and Favors misses some of those I'd be completely happy with 5-5.

I'd be OK with it. If Hood can ever get his head together...

I want to see Hayward and Hood drop 60 on someone like the Rockets.
 
Agreed...Im wishfully thinking 6-4 but ok with 5-5 too hopefully Favs comes back in next game or so and stays healthy, and Hood needs to come good.

tbo I think somebody is gonna drop 45-50 on somebody if we find some offensive chemistry. A lot of our guys could do it. It may be a year out still, but its gonna happen.
 
TOnight was a good night for the Jazz.

Big win v. the Blazers who were the 9th seed. Also the Warriors, Clippers and Thunder won.

Rockets (HAHAHAHAHAHA), Suns, Blazers, Wolves and Pelicans lost.

1/1 Games:

Mavs @ Heat
Sixers @ Lakers

Jazz are now 2 games ahead of the 9th seed and only 1/2 a game behind the 7th seed...
