That's cool - nice pick last year going solo on Giannis BTW.

I wanna pick my nose.
PJ Hairston
It's a tie for me. . .
Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine
Both of them are raw as heck, but they have franchise potential and are sitting outside of the top 3 picks. Swing for the fences.
Great thread.
Well I'd like to pick Stauskas then.
Great pick actually, I see a lot of Klay Thompson in him. Could really surprise some people.
Alright guys, it's time to make this official list of who we love in the 2014 NBA Draft.
So how does this work?
- You pick who you "Love" as a player, irregardless of position and where they're projected to be picked.
- It's basically the guy you're proud to be a "homer" of.
- If your guy is picked really high in the draft, but crapped out, ala "Jimmer" or a "Laetner" or an "Alexander" then you would be "Shamed" forever and ever more. (I'm look at you, Biyombo and 'Bazz homers, you know who you are).
- If your guys performed more or less at the same level as where he is picked, then it's "Meh".
- However, if your guy is picked low, like say Thompson or Lillard, but outperformed that particular pick, then you are "Glorified" forever and ever more here on JazzFanz and become a part of JazzFanz's prestigious folklore. (Honz is obviously in this category re Hayward)
====================================================================
So just indicate below what your pick is (1 player per poster only please) and I will update the following list. Doesn't matter if your player is taken, I'll group you guys together, no problem whatsoeva.
Let's Go!!!

The evaluation part is the key:
I've always been a Vonleh homer, but he will underperform his draft position next season. He's a project and will take a couple of years to develop - i.e. back up next year and won't have stats that jump out at you. On the other hand, whoever goes to Philly will have a HUGE year since their team is awful. Case in point was MCW.
I'll take McBuckets. He's going to be a scorer off the bench from Day 1, but may fall to late lottery.
Doug "Great White Hope" McDermott.
McDerrmott is an easy pick he averaged more than the hyperstars of the draft.
Exum for me.
