Or maybe this is a complete crapshoot about a draft that I have spent little time analyzing.

Here are Homey's predictions: 12 Sabonis, first 2nd round pick Junior Glove, 2nd round pick Kyle Wiltjer 3rd 2nd round pick James Webb III. Rationle: Sabonis gives us a guy to replace Booker and has the bloodlines. Gary Payton has the blood lines like Sabonis and gives us a scrapper at point guard. Wiltjer was a UK signee and put up good offensive numbers and can contribute. Webb III is a potential wing and his college coach said his best days are ahead of him. Plus he can jump out of the gym.

So how does this work?


- You pick who you "Love" as a player, irregardless of position and where they're projected to be picked.

- It's basically the guy you're proud to be a "homer" of and you think he/she will outperform his/her draft position.

- If your guy is picked really high in the draft, but crapped out, ala "Anthony Bennett" (No. 1 pick), "Derrick Williams" (No. 2 pick), then you would be "Shamed" forever and ever more.

- If your guy performed more or less at the same level as where he is picked, then it's "Meh".

- However, if your guy is picked low, like say Klay Thompson (No. 11) or Paul George (No. 10), but outperformed that particular pick, then you are "Glorified" forever and ever more here on JazzFanz and become a part of JazzFanz's prestigious folklore. (Honz is obviously in this category re Hayward)

I'd like to change from Thon to Korkmaz.
 
According to rumors a bunch of teams have contacted the Jazz about their pick, including the Spurs and Hornets. I think we trade the pick for future draft picks.

I feel like this is normal. I'm sure every year someone calls the Jazz about their draft pick.

Here's an interesting question - would you trade #12 for 2017 Hornets unprotected pick? I think I would.

Yeah me too. We've got way too many young players... even if the Hornets just made it to the playoffs, they'll likely just scraped through meaning we'll get #15 pick which in the 2017 LOADED draft will likely be better than the 12th pick in 2016.
 
I'll take Jaylen Brown. I saw a highlight video of him 3 years ago that I really liked.
