Official Thread: 2016 Draft JazzFanz Homer List

I was not a big Dejounte fan before the draft, but you couldn't have picked a better landing spot for a guy who had his type of struggles in college.

They are going to force him to learn how to play defense and shoot. It will take some time but the Spurs can afford that luxury.

Since Jakob didn't fall as much as expected I'm changing my pick to Dejounte

LMAO.

I was under the impression you couldnt change your pick once the draft happened. LMAO at the biggest Dejounte doubter switching to Dejounte just because he went to the Spurs.

If you are letting people change their pick at least specify from-to and why.

I've made it pretty clear in the OP that you can change your pick as long as it's before the first SL game. I even BOLDED that particular part for emphasis.

Just know that I picked Dejounte way before the draft. Lmao at those who want to change their pick btw.

I wish we could have gotten Murray in the late 1st.

****ing Spurs.

Buddy Hield. 50% FG, 45% 3pt, 88% FT, while shooting a high volume. And with defenses focused solely on stopping him. Kid is a hard worker and a winner. He will not fail.

Now that Deyonta 'Underrated' Davis dropped out of the first round, I like my chances of having him outperform his draft position. Although after hearing his interview, I'd question his aptitude. That said, despite having Porzingis at #2 on my last year's board, my ability to evaluate players is no more than listening to experts with the best arguments.

Steal for sure but he needs to bulk up, play more intense on D and do not shy away from contact. I hope he can straighten out the buy out issue.

He's still a teenager. I'd bring him over ASAP and get him into my strength and conditioning program and have him work with my coaching staff to aid his development. He should come over right away so he starts his NBA clock. Any Euro player drafted should try to get to his second NBA contract instead of developing overseas anymore.

Maker simply went where he should have gone vs. where he was projected to go.

His floor is very high and his ceiling is unlimited.

A-freaking-men. There were those of us who would have taken him at 12, so no surprise he went #10.

Also, love seeing my name next to Ante Zizic. So jealous of Boston - not only is he a badass, but he's a great fit there.

Well I hinted earlier in the thread that people would just change their picks to the spurs after the draft and that I would change my pick if Jakob didn't go as early as he did

Years ago I complained about Kawhi not being able to hit water if he fell out of a boat when he played for San Diego State. The spurs have a effect on players, that's undeniable

With Manu retirement up in the air and Danny Green being the only other SG on the roster. He should get some PT on a really good team.

I thought he left school too early but i guess it turned out the best since he fell in the draft and got drafted by a top class organization.
