What's new

Official Thread: # Jazz Draft Day 2018 #

I know everyone hates the Allen pick now, but I don't think it will take long for him to become a fan favorite. The guy gives it everything he has on the court.

The fact that Locke can tell who we are picking every damn year is troublesome... we seem to decide on a guy so early and ignore others and what is happening in the actual draft.

I think that Allen is the type of guy that will be a rock solid role player for 10-12 years. He's adequate at everything. He'll annoy the **** out of other teams players and fans too which is a plus. Maybe he can take on a Matt Harpring type role for this current Jazz team. A consistent role player who is not afraid to get his nose dirty and scrap.

That would be awesome if it ends up being the case. A gritty player that can get on other players’ nerves is always good to have. And he can shoot. I feel good about this.

Portland with Simmons...

Gotta say, I love Donovan and I couldn't be happier we've got him as our franchise player for the future.

But the kid is getting a bit camera hungry. The hug of Allen during his interview seemed calculated. He needs to get that in check.
You are aware that Donovan wants to be a broadcaster when he retires. So I think he is really lucky to get on the job training when he is still playing. Did he say anything about the pick?

How did porty pass Williams for Simons... they need a center who does what he does... did teams forget he was there... like a fantasy draft.
