Official UofU homer thread

Big test for Utah tonight. While I don’t classify Arizona as a “good” team, Rich Rod has always been a match-up nightmare for Whitt, winning 4 outta 5 meetings. Their rushing attack looks pretty formidable and it’s a PAC12 venue where Utah hasn’t had a lot of success. IMO, this game is going to serve as a pretty good barometer for a young Utah team.

Dude bros I just turned on the game with like a minute left in the half and see troy williams on the field rather than huntley.

Wtf happened to huntley?

Got sacked on a roll out, went to the ground pretty hard with 2 guys falling with/on him and came up holding his knee. Nothing gruesome but I would've thought shoulder/collarbone not knee/leg.

Sheesh! That was #Pac12AfterDark if I've ever seen it. Got the win, but at what cost?

Huntley could be done for the season. It is obvious that he broke his clavicle. Williams isn't near the level of Huntley. He can throw a go route and that's it.

Ya I thought I saw him grab his left knee but he grabbed his collarbone.

Injuries are a guarantee when you have a QB taking hits like he has been.

So what's the latest on Huntley
The U should know by now how serious his injury is
If they are anything like byu then they wont disclose injuries or timetables for return. It's lame.

Whitt only comments on season ending injuries, so at least for now we should take that as a good sign. I realize Troy Williams is a great kid with an amazing work ethic but man is he a bad QB. His completion % last night was 50 in an offense that’s built around short, quick passes and is an extremely QB friendly system. If Huntley misses the rest of the year, or even extended time, I think Utah goes 2-6 the rest of the way.

There was a camera shot during the game of Huntley with his right arm in a sling and in street clothes. He was using his left hand to feel his clavicle as you if it was broken.

I don't know what the timetable on something like that is, but 6-8 weeks at minimum?

The Utes are in trouble. Their running game is not what it has been, and as others have mentioned Troy Williams is not a good QB. He throws checkdowns and go routes. Nothing else. He's allergic to completions on crossing routes or slants.

Huntley was the running game and the passing game. Now all we have is throwing up prayers to Carrington.
