Sigh. Also, I actually just read your post. It's disgusting. To compare those kids to rapists and murders?!? What the hell is wrong with you?
Your post was disgusting. I'd be ashamed if I was you.

I negged you because you added nothing intelligent to the conversation. Your post was a troll post, so I treated you as such. If you have an issue or disagree with one of my statements, tell us why. But adding nothing to the conversation and doing nothing but being a bitch...well, you got negged for that.
If you think I over-rate coaching experience say so. If you think our OL or DL isn't as good as I say, say so. If you think our WR's sill suck, say so. If you think our LB'ers will give up huge rushing yards every game, say so.
Doing what you did, is nothing more than being a complete jerkoff. A troll. That's fine. You want to be a troll, you'll get treated like one. If you want to add to the conversation, add to it and let's have a discussion.
This is rich coming from you considering your daily trolljob posts about the Jazz.
I think the Utah/BYU game gets put at the end of the schedule every year. It takes care of the ND scheduling problem the PAC-12 has.
I think it does take away the P5 game. We'd be stupid to play more than one P5 OOC if we have a 9 game conference schedule. We just aren't good enough/deep enough for that tough of a schedule.
One more reason, out of the millions, why the PAC-12 needs to go to 8 game conference schedule.
I'd love to see the PAC-12 partner up with the Big 12 and share the network. 12 teams per league. 8 conference games. 1 game OOC with a Big 12 team. That would leave 3 OOC games. BYU/Utah could be our Big 12 game. Then we could still schedule another P5 school if we wanted to.
That solves all the problems.

Your scenario solves the problem but as of right now, I don't see an end in sight to playing 9 conference games which leads us right back to the problem of a Big12 BYU eating up our 1 big OOC game every year.
It's not a knock on BYU, it's just the fact that it handcuffs Utah when it comes to schedule diversity. Like you, I don't want to see Utah schedule 2 P5 OOC games due to the fact that the 9 game PAC12 schedule is rigorous enough for them. Should BYU become P5, I'd like to see something like a 2 years on, 2 years off rotation. That gives Utah a chance to maintain the rivalry game, while still getting some home-and-homes with teams from the other P5 conferences. I for one didn't miss the rivalry game during the 2 years we were playing Michigan, and I'd love to see more of that type of scheduling.
I agree with everything you say. The PAC-12 isn't going down to 8 games. They are too desperate for content for their networks.
And BYU shouldn't be on our schedule every year, because they are P5 level game, so when they are on the schedule, we don't get a P5 game.
I bet this wouldn't be too tough of a deal to get lined up:
Home and home with BYU years 1 and 2.
Years 3, 4, 5, 6 Utah does a home and home with two seperate P5 schools.
During years 3, 4, 5, 6 if Utah does not make the playoffs, Rose Bowl, Holiday and maybe Alamo Bowl (although I'd rather go to Vegas than SA) they are matched up vs BYU in their Bowl game in Vegas. Everyone wins that way. As much as Utah fans don't like or want to admit this, visiting Vegas is better than El Paso or any other Texas location.
Utah gets to get some variety to their schedule, the game is still played 4 to 5 times out of 6 years (and some cycles it would be played all 6 years) and BYU has an interesting bowl every single year instead of their crappy alignment they have right now.
I'm with you with everything but the part in which we basically commit to playing BYU in the Vegas bowl with such regularity. Yes, going to Vegas is more fun than El Paso, yes a match-up with BYU will be a sell-out, but what about the chance to play a team like Miami in the Sun Bowl? I don't care about ticket sales and bowl attendance when compared to the fact that maybe some extra Florida recruits see Utah playing a team from their state.
Bowl games vs ACC schools is a good thing for us as we try to keep some sort of Florida pipeline alive. For those who think I am overstating the importance of this, come back and talk to me this year or next when 2015 Florida Gatorade player of the year Tyler Huntley is making it rain as Utah's starting QB.
It's james vanderbeek making a ridiculous crying face. It's hilarious. Not because it's tied to this thread either. It would be hilarious with any thread. What is it?
