Is this the thread where I can ask why the organization uses the nickname "Jazz" when there's no Jazz in Utah?...probably a question nobody ever thought of asking.

Just like there are tons of lakes in Los Angeles.

Minnesota and wolves makes sense, thunder in OKC makes sense, Spurs in Texas makes sense. The rest though, I'm not so sure. Wizards in Washington? Could be something there I just don't know about that relates to politicians?

But yeah, for most of the names, if they make half sense, it's fine i guess? lol. Bulls in Chicago? Jazz in Utah? Making fun of Lakers in LA is the only fun one though just cause F*** the lakers.
