Official Utah/Minnesota/Philadelphia Pick Watch

I do remember saying that I couldn't wait for KAT to get back. He doesn't help. He hurts their team
You were right clearly. After, he miss more than 50 games so can't be back to his level fast. But anyway, i do think he will remain a good player but he is missing the grind champion are. He is way too soft. The way he was destroy by AD last game after Rudy was out is hard to watch. Our pic looks bettter !!! .

Dallas is definitely stressing me out. I was actually ok with OKC losing last night because it means that Dallas is still in the hunt for the play in.

When we made the trade at the deadline I thought we would end up as the 8th or 9th best lottery odds. We're still in good shape for 9th, but the fact that we could still drop has me concerned more than it should.

Yeah I was worried Dallas might lose those 2 road games and get eliminated.. but OKC losing both of their games during the last 3 days saved them.

Mavs finish season with 3 home games and since SAC is locked for 3rd they might not start their best 5 and also SAS at the end of the schedule is a game that even the Mavs gotta win. The Chicago game in between could be their most contested game since Bulls have a legit chance for 8th seed which would be huge for them.

We have Denver as a likely opponent rest game and Thunder closes vs Memphis who will surely rest.

Ha ha, I see I'm not the only one spending way too much time looking in to every possible scenario.

But.. but.. but.. we need to win those games or else we’re not Hardcore fans.. am I right @MT Steve ?!?!

I mean to think losing a few games to improve from a 5th pick to 9th would just be blasphemy … we can’t have that now can we?
One Love doesn't understand the difference between "We need to win these games" and "If we win these games I'll enjoy it"

So you enjoyed us getting 9th pick instead of 5th pick?

LOL

That’s MT Steve philosophy right?
I don't control the outcome of games.

So from my perspective, I can either enjoy it when our team plays well, or be like One Love and throw a tantrum over our home fans having the audacity to cheer for the team.

You’re effectively celebrating getting a lower draft pick. If I can’t make you see that I don’t know what will.

The only difference between a fan who is "effectively celebrating getting a lower draft pick" and you is that the former enjoyed this season a hell of a lot more.

Would you be enjoying the lower draft pick in June?
Considering that my cheering for the Jazz has zero impact on their draft pick, I would have no regrets.

Fish said it best awhile ago: It's a win/win. If the Jazz win, great, he's happy. If they lose, great, that helps our draft pick.

I'm sorry you could only enjoy one side of that this season.

If you’re enjoying the 3 wins you’ll be getting a worse pick and the draft won’t be as enjoyable.

You can’t have it both ways.

Unless you enjoy getting the worse pick.. which makes you one weird dude.

Is there any reason in particular why you won't drop this?
