Official Utah/Minnesota/Philadelphia Pick Watch

I doubt Don re-signs there… they may end up moving him in a year or two… I don’t think it’s a bad deal for them or it causes some long term issue with Garland. Those picks likely end up outside the lotto but with time anything can happen and that is why teams stopped handing out unprotected picks… let alone unprotected picks 5 and 7 years out. Dangerous game.
I think he will, it is far more likely they trade Garland if the pairing fails. Right now Garland has not lived up to his bag. But he has been playing with that eye injured still so probably only reason.
If Mitch leaves, the Cavs will still have a decent team with Mobley and Garland at minumum not a tanker type.

Nets winning 4/5 really sucks an entire butt
New coach bump and they have had an easier schedule. I worry less about them than Philly.

Philly/Brooklyn is nice, but it’s a 1st round pick for Royce “44+/-“ O’Neale. Wherever it lands, the Jazz could get a decent player out of this draft (as long as they scout well) - but the real prize is Minnesota. If that pick is in the lottery, the Jazz made out like bandits. Top 5? They’re golden.

Not to mention future Minny picks, that look like guarateed lottery picks right now.

RJ Barrett managed to score 2 points today against the Thunder in 19 minutes. Grimes, who was untouchable, has scored only 10 points over a 5 game span. He finished with 0 points today

Unfortunately Mitchell is out for today's game.
Hopefully, Cleveland wins a clutch game and it makes people start to wonder. . .

Minnesota’s collapse has to happen now, because we currently own their picks.

Cleveland’s collapse can happen down the road. I’m fine if there’s some small things that add and build on each other until it becomes untenable.

I'm starting to think the T'wolves really are a play-in-level team. Suns, Nuggets, Grizzlies, Clippers, Warriors should all be better than them. Pels, Mavs and Blazers could all actually be as good or better as well. Then there's, you know, the Jazz.

For Clippers, it mostly depend if Kawhi can play a lot of games or not. Warriors are one injury away from beeing not too good and Memphis will struggle if Ja, JJJ get absent. Things are strange this year as apart from Suns and nuggets, i see the rest of the crowd is pretty close. We can finish 3rd of regular season or 10-12 th...
For Minny, they have so many things to fix that i agree with you, they could failed easy. And in the best case for us, beeing a lottery team...

Minnesota

6-8

As of today would be tied for the #8 pick in the draft.

Brooklyn

6-9

As of today would be tied for the #6 pick in the draft.

Philadelphia

7-7

As of today would be tied for the #15 pick in the draft.

We own Minnesota’s pick unprotected and get the lesser of Brooklyn/Philadelphia/Houston’s picks.

Updated. Philadelphia is starting to creep towards the 18-22 range as I thought. Minnesota is still holding strong in the top-10.

Philly really needs to get Harden back so they can start losing again.
I don't have a ton of hope that both Brooklyn and Philly miss the playoffs... and it mainly rests with Philly. Only way they miss is a 20-25 game absence from Embiid... the additional mileage he takes on with Harden out may be the reason that an Embiid injury happens. Not rooting for it... just calling it as I see it. Their schedule was the reason they struggled out of the gate... not Harden.
