All a team has to do to tank is just refuse to grab a rebound. Dallas seems to be struggling with this concept.

I'm kind of worried about tomorrows game with the Nuggets likely resting most of their guys.

You would have to think if the league was ever going to come down hard on a team for tanking , Dallas is front row central
Before tonight’s game , they had a legit chance of the play - in , then decide to play their superstar for only 1 quarter and shut him down for the rest of the season .

The Knicks losing a top-10 pick by 1 spot due to tanking is reminiscent of using losing one to the Warriors when they tanked for Harrison Barnes.

We don’t have a superstar who legitimately had a shot a making the play in before tonight’s game and only played him 1 quarter
First part: sure they did.
Second part: perhaps so.
Third part: play-in game issue makes a difference.
My man, the Jazz got eliminated one day before the Mavs did, and were resting everybody under the sun for the past month.
If it's an argument as to which team with a chance at the play-in tanked more, it's the Jazz by a landslide.

They should let the lottery play out… and if nobody passes Dallas, make them forfeit that pick to the Knicks. That would be about as harsh of a penalty as you could realistically see, and it would probably deter something like this in the future
