Bad loss for the Utes, but not the end of the world. Good news, the end of Jordan Whiff? I don't think too many of us actually believe the refs cost us this game. A little offense would have probably netted better results. I'm okay with the zoob trash talk. We deserve it. The cougs always beat USU, so there's that. It is amusing to listen to the PAC12 doormat smack when we haven't even played a conference game yet.
Did they cancel next week's game yet? There's no need to play it, right? It's pretty much a gimme for the mighty BYUs.

And I'm actually scared as hell. Utah is going to come out even more pissed off and fired up now. I don't think it will be anywhere near what last year was (that game was an anomaly, just one of the games, IMO), but BYU better be ready to withstand an early Utah flurry.

Been avoiding sports channels and sites all weekend (similar to after a bad Jazz loss) and I'm still having a hard time, not so much with the loss but more with how the U played (or lack there of). Before the game (Wed or Thur) I mentioned I was nervous about Johnson and his OC duties and thought the play calling was more due to the first opponent and while still nervous he seemed to be doing okay, however after this game it reminded me why I was so nervous going into the season.
Now it is not all on him it takes a complete team to suck so badly, Wynn, the HORRIBLE OL play, White looked like he was running with his eyes closed, but Scott had 2 TD's and was able to make plays how he wasn't involved more I have no idea.
Even after a few days to cool off I'm wondering if the U can win more then 3 games this entire season Wash St. and Colorado appear to be the only other teams that may be as bad so far as the rest of the PAC 12 had a good weekend.
The refs aren't to blame as if the Utes would've played with their heads only half way up their butts they may have been able to win. The punch Krueger through was inexcusable even if he was being held on that and several other plays you do not and cannot do that. Much like the offensive PI, stuff like that happens on a lot of plays (offense and defense) sometimes there called and sometimes there not, just a part of the game.
Oh and I think it was Duck saying he saw people wearing their Ute gear after the loss, for the record I make a point to wear mine after losses, any bandwagon piss ants can wear them after wins. Plus if someone wants to talk trash I get to vent and helps the healing process.
