Official Warrior Watch: Draft Pick and Playoff Positioning

Wish Washington could have played their best game tonight against GS instead of last night against the Lakers. I NEVER thought I'd witness a season in which both the Clippers and Warriors are better teams than the Lakers.

I would be surprised. Why wouldn't they go backup big man? Or backup wing? They need a lot a depth, but I think they are set on PG's after they got Maynor. Portland has 0 depth outside of the PG spot.

Maynor's a restricted free agent, so there are questions there whether Portland will keep him. They already have Maynard as a backup big. Not to mention Freeland and Babbit.

That's beside the point though, you immediately eliminate that risk if they're behind you.

I said it a week or two ago. Jazz must get ahead of Portland by season end or it will cost them the GS on draft night to get ahead of Portland. Portland fights dirty.

Why do they want to get ahead of Portland? Didn't you hear the lovefest when Mo Williams was signed? He'll be back next year...and the year after...and the year after.

But the thread is titled the "Official Warrior Watch..." So we can be talking about THEIR pick and THEIR playoff positioning.

LOL...You are correct. The Jazz's late season collapse has inflicted brain damaged and destroyed my reading ability...
 
A win tonight by the Lakers and the 76ers will make a huge difference for the Jazz as far as picks are concerned.
