Are you a Clipper fan, Boris. You should know that posting something like this is going to create a lot enmity on this site for you. I'd delete the part about Joe playing for the Clips. In any case, they still have Redick and Rivers for that position. You think Doc would replace his own son, who is much younger and still has upside, for Jingling, who's much older? Doubtful.
 
jazz would pay 3 years 39 million is that is what it takes.

i expect jingles to re-sign in utah for around 10 mil per year. It will be at a slight discount but he will stay where he is more comfortable and has a chance to win.
 
I ask myself, why worry about what hasn't happened? I risk missing out on the amazing things that are happening right before my eyes. It reminds me of an old wise jazzfan who once said:

Jazzfanz must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away… to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. With last nights win and the way this series has gone I think this squad wants to see what they can do with further development and time. They are hungry and ready for the next step.

Hayward, Hill, Neto and Ingles are all back next season.

Mack, Diaw, Withey and Burks are not.
 
Ingles has GOT TO STAY. He helps make the whole team better. He just does. And he's good friends with G-time, so if J.I. Joe stays, Hayward might have extra incentive.

Not sure about Withey, I think his personal life will affect that. He's useable and cheap, so I like him, but he's drama. I like Boris at the right price for rudy, but Neto is more of his pal than the big croissant so might be a non issue.

15 people on a 17 man roster, "draft pick" can be interchanged with free agent or trade.

just my opinion...the Jazz locking up Ingles long term will greatly improve Jazz's chances of keeping Hayward.
 
Unless there is a ridiculous offer, or something else comes up, I think we pay Ingles. He's restricted, right--not that he would want to leave, as long as he gets paid. It's gone from "Will Ingles be worth the contract someone will throw to him this summer" to "he's definitely worth it."
 
The real question is, will the Jazz be prepared to match the ridiculous offer Portland will give him? We all know it's going to be Portland.
