Dude. I've never met someone with a better shoe collection. Ain't no one ****ing with you on that.

Is that $3000 worth of shoes or something? Jeebus. Those cordovans...... *drool*

Hey thanks man. Its a hobby that has sort of taken a life of its. You ought to post some of the things you picked up in Japan! How was your trip by the way?

I'll try to do it up when I have time. It was fantastic man-- there isn't a better place to go shopping in the entire world IMO.

In the last couple of months I've picked up the following boots:

*a ridiculously cool pair of Caboots, totally custom, at some estate sale in Central (costal) California. They'd been worn for probably about 10 hours. Maybe the coolest pair of cowboy boots I've ever seen.
*Some handmade Santoni hiking boots. I didn't even know Santoni made these. I'll be hiking in them into my 50s. Awesome.
*A pair of brown Santonis that are more like beatle boots than any other type. Slick. Almost half western. Handmade. The best balance I've ever felt in a boot.

Stocked, braughs.

I have a lot of shoes. Couple pair of AEs, Eccos, JM, and old Florsheim and Bostonians from before they went to ****. My suit preference is Banana monogram and J Crew Ludlow (best bang for the buck). My favorite item is this bad boy. I have used it daily for nearly a decade.20160222_141402.jpg

*old, stained, red sweatpants; elastic cuff on the bottom.
*discount-bin black tank top, with some purple, aqua, and turquoise line work screen printed on.
*Red, white, blue, and pink(ish) camouflage-patterned socks
*a minty green, slightly effeminate fleecy jacket, white speckles, which I got from the left over pile of a women's clothing swap.
*a cyclist's hat to keep my matted morning hair out of my eyes and beard
*Birkenstock clogs, brown.

I also just spotted some chicken food caught in my beard

Kolor burgundy wool sweater with leather accents
Kapital century denim jeans, and jacket
Mom knit me some fingerless gloves
Kapital patchwork muffler
A Filson bag I got for 70% off last week
Paul Smith boots

Finished it off with a ivory amish-style wide brimmed rabbit felt hat, got it in Japan.

Right now, I ****s with Kapital Jeans, and nothing comes remotely close. Superb quality, fit, and they make some ****ing awesome looking jeans too. The entire brand is fire-- unfortunately they prices get marked the hell up when they're shipped to North America.

There's a couple of stores in the LA and San Fran areas that carry Kapital. Here's a pair of jeans that I currently own, am currently wearing, and have worn almost every day since last September.:

They're dyed with Japanese persimmons. The fade they've developed over-time is just....amazing.

----

they also have a sumi (charcoal) dye, and they make jackets of both dye types. The brand takes a lot of inspiration from Levis, as do many Japanese companies

I can't like this enough.

Heading to Vegas for four days... can finally break out some style you can't pull off in St. George.

I know I'm asking for it with that^^.

here come the Nasons

Nah.. Just my sport coat, shirt, tie, and jeans combos don't work in conservative St. George.. People think you're more texture/color tarded rather than recognizing style. Can also rock Rolex and Patek whereas I don't in the geezy.
