What's new

OJ Mayo on the block. Doesn't want to be moved to Denver (In recent Melo rumors)

The only 6-4 wing in the league that I want is Eric Gordon. God damn it the Clippers have a great core if they don't screw it all up.

I love Eric Gordon's game, dude is a beast. Definitely wish he was with the Jazz. I think Mayo could be great in our system though with DWill and company.

If at all the Jazz want to get a major upgrade at SG, these are the ideal candidates that I would like to see. Of course we are not likely to get most of them, but a very short list nevertheless:

In No particular order:
Eric Gordon
Jason Richardson
Iguodala
Joe Johnson

The OJ Mayos and the Wesley Mathewses and the Nick Youngs fall in the next category of promising young SGs who can put up some points but may not be the difference makers in the playoffs.

Your list has 2 good players. Why in the hell do you want Johnson or Iguodala? Those are two of the most overpaid players in the NBA.

Thats why I also added that we are unlikely to get most of them.

That list is irrespective of salary and other trade constraints. I just listed some players who I thought would be good upgrades at starting SG (while leaving out the likes of Kobe or D-Wade or Ginobli for obvious reasons).
BTW, Iguodala is making about 4 million less than what AK is making this year. Not too bad. He will be much better being the second option on the Jazz than being with the Sixers.

LOL what a pathetic argument. Pulling one game. Look at Mayo's career vs. Miles. And I dont care if you live in Mayo's bedroom closet you have no idea how to evaluate talent.

Oh yeah and you know how to evaluate talent. Arent you the one who wanted Sean Williams from Boston College? Now Shawne Williams out of u. of M is a decent player.
