What's new

Ok this game will be fun ,Tuesday OKC vs Utah

why do you even defend kanter? he said **** about our franchise. I wouldn't defend anyone who insulted my family. if you want to defend him, you can join okc bangwagon

I see a bunch of old guys that normally know basketball only talk hate when it's Kanter,a foreign kid from Turkey.I bring it up because he was dumped for nothing to a inter rival that
Three of NBA TV's six Open Court analysts -- Dennis Scott, Brent Barry, Isiah Thomas -- pick Thunder to win title:
Now OKC thinks so highly of Kanter they think he's the early favorite for 6th man of the year....https://thunderousintentions.com/2015/10/19/enes-kanter-should-be-early-favorite-for-6th-man-award/
Now if Utah has problems scoring this year and lose games to the high scoring teams then I'll be pi$$ed.

The fact that he is foreign is never mentioned by anyone except some Turkish posters. Kanter got a low return due to his lack of D and his mouth. He torpedoed his own value.

Utah has proven they can win at a high rate against good teams. They did so for 1/3 of last season.

Kanter shares the lions share of the blame for how things went down. And none of that has to die with his nationality or religion. None of it.

I watched some of the OKC game Sunday night. Kanter was having a good offensive game against Denver's Bench bigs. But wasn't getting a lot of burn with the starters. It looks like OKC wants to feature him off the bench, the same role he would have had here in Utah. From what I saw, he has entirely given up on his midrange, and has gone completely Al Jefferson. And despite all of the talk about "working on his footwork," he is still complete *** on defense. All of the "looking like he was trying" is completely gone (probably because he has his contract.) I would say he got abused, but it wouldn't be accurate. For the most part he was rarely on camera when his guy scored. He was rubbed off by small guards, he would jackpot around when the ball was being brought down by the other team, being the last to cross half court, and wouldn't follow either player on a switch. The one time that I saw him foul a guy was when his opponent got an offensive rebound and went back up an he appeared to not be able to get out of the way fast enough. Again, this was only about 10 minutes of viewing, but he was featured during that time.

Kanter is a jerk and so are you for defending him. The man said he did not give it his all when he played in Utah. This is the type of player you want playing for Utah on such a highly paid contract? Nuts to you and Kanter. I do NOT like players that want paid big and will not give their all for their teammates period!

I agree with tieklheen in a sense. It's pretty funny to see Jazz fans still really upset with Kanter just because he said some mean things about Utah when I was hating Kanter since before Day 1. It's Utah's fault for drafting the bum. When I see Kanter and dislike him, it has nothing to do with his comments. I actually liked Kanter more when he said those things because it was a smart move to force along a trade by outraging the casual fans.

Jazz fans also have to recognize OKC is using Kanter way better than Utah ever did. Utah always had an idea in their mind that Kanter would turn into some kind of power hybrid of Dirk. OKC gave up that dream the first day they got him and just told him to do what he does best, go after offensive rebounds and score around the basket.

the jazz wanted Kanter to work on his overall game. OKC is working him into narrow slots. When you're as young as he was in Utah, then the jazz did the right thing. Of course, for that to work well, he would have had to bring his best effort and attention, which he's admitted he didn't. OKC is giving him marching orders with fewer responsibilities and he is more motivated.

I'm very reluctant to put a feather in the cap of OKC in regards to Kanter.... especially if that also means taking one out of Utah's cap.

Then OKC are complete idiots for signing him to a max offer. You could get "offensive rebounds and score around the basket" from Adam Keefe.

Kanter trade made the most sense for everyone. Jazz, Kanter, OKC, Hayward, Burke, Rudy, Westbrook, ...goes on until Gelgamecks. But on the record @cy; he said those crap after getting traded. So it became much more intense.

OKC gave Kanter his max deal which I think is a lot more than his contribution worth but they still see potential and the most important thing is they want to give Durant the championship message which I think is not a good move because they also have a new coach and they will need time to settle down with their offense and defense. They look just like the same chaotic basketball so far on both ends. Individual efforts. Extremely talented players who do not care much about chemistry in ball movement (yes pretty much the opposite of the Jazz).

I mean, Durant-Russ-Ibaka-Enes-Morrow will drop 120 on you any given night but they will not always win. Their new coach is smart enough to see that and he benches Enes Kanter and Dion Waiters who are not the best team players and both have tunnel vision.

Not that my man Enes is not developing his passing. He dimed one for Westbrook that last game you should see it. It would be like an angry dad watching his son achieve and feel proud even though they broke up from family issues.

Where was I? Oh OK, Kanter is a lot more than "offensive rebounds and score around the basket" on offense this much is clear and OKC will have to rely on his scoring too after losing a few stars in the long run.

But it's still a gamble to stuff the cap so much. They just probably did not want to say What If again when the cap is about to rise in 2 years.

Max offer he got is going to be the equivalent of a 12 million (maybe even less) deal in the future CBA. They would be complete idiots to trade for him and let him walk.

At the end of the day Kanter is going to put up some good stats on high efficiency on a good per minute basis given he will be coming off the bench. If they can at least mask his defensive problems (much easier in the 2nd unit) and make it seem like he has improved on defense, they will have a decent trade asset if they choose to do so. Pretty soon starting bigs are going to be getting 18-20 million a year and Kanter's 16 will look like what an average starter will be making.

Karl Malone need to step up into here and put you Jazzfanz heads straight. Karl Malone trained Enes Kanter during the offseason and Karl Malone know the inner workings of Kanter mans mind. Karl Malone took Kanter fishing for some fishes and Kanter man was afraid to catch the fish. Kanter squealed like a baby pig in front of Karl Malone when he touch the fish. Karl Malone is ashamed that he had to work with Kanter man. Karl Malone would rather be suspended from the league for elbowing Isaiah Thomas than ever mentor Kanter man again. Karl Malone know Kanter is Turkish for Cancer. Karl Malone know that it was Turkish Delights that made the man in the lions wardrobe betray his family. Karl Malone cannot bear that Karl Malone had to have a cancer in his home. Karl Malone know more than any other Jazzfanz, so Karl Malone says don't dispute. Kanter man is a hoodlum.

Only thing I remember is your daughter flirting with Kanter on twitter.

The problem you have is that you have a guy who is admittedly a gold bricker, you have placed him on the bench, and he no longer has any financial incentive. Do you really think Kanter is going to meld into a team component under those circumstances?

And as for Kanter being a discount, it is crap. Overpaying for a piece now is still overpaying. Keep in mind that all player costs will go up, even the midlevel guys will make a ton more. That extra 5 or 6 million you are paying for Kanter will eventually cause you not to be able to sign someone else you wanted. Hopefully it is Durrant, because screw OKC.

ROTFLMAO!

Thanks for the good laugh.

To many "Karl Malone" and "Kanter Mans". Tone it down just a little to be more believable.
