Quin: "I know it's just preseason but with the Exum injury and the preseason combined my optimism is pretty much gone. It'll be great if they turn it around. They should. But I'm not excited. "

Yeah I realize that was a complement. It may have came off more back handed then you intended.

His 3pt% was 44% before this 0-2 shooting night. I thought tonight was very impressive for so many reason. His defense continues to look much improved, he created really good looks for his teammates, and he bounced back for a poor shooting 1st half something he really struggled with so far in his career. Usually if Trey starts with his shot off he'd end that way.

He took as many shots as Kevin Durant ... more than Hayward Having said that he was good tonight. It's just that his even on a good night he's not influential. He'll be a very good backup tho if he plays like that.

So Quin is also upset with how we are playing? Are we allowed to be critical now Stoked since Quin is also seemingly upset with the level of play?

All you are is argumentative and critical. Why stop now?

Sure, it doesn't count. But make no mistake, both teams were playing to win tonight. We've got some work to do.

Of course we do. Aside from the first quarter Jazz did pretty good.

But OKC is the better team.

Both Favors and especially Gobert have looked bad in pre-season. No intensity, no passion, nothing... I hope it's just cuz "preseason"...

Also... Hood can be scary if he just realizes how good he is and doesn't hesitate to shoot it. I think he should be taking shots like Klay Thompson. I'd be alright with him taking 3s even if they are not the cleanest looks. Most of his misses seem to me are when he hesitates and is not sure whether it's ok to shoot it or not. If they are not guarding him tightly, just pull up and shoot it from 3, I won't mind.

Yeah, we've got to come out ready to play. OKC punched the Jazz in the mouth early and they couldn't recover. Durant is ridiculous.

Wow... I just got back form the game. I was really disappointed.

Gobert looked tired and soft. Our defense was very poor but of course, Durant makes every defense look poor. I just didn't see that fire that I was used to last year. Hopefully we were just not ready to play and it is not anything to be worried about.

Rodney was incredible.

It is absolutely a problem and something the Jazz struggled with last year as well. Learning to start the game ready will be a step forward.

Your theory was that Gobert sucks because Kanter is gone so he's no longer motivated. He dominated last year when Kanter was gone. And now you're bringing up LESS pressure as the reason he dominated

First of all I didn't write that he sucks so stop trolling.

Somebody wrote that he is struggling due to a combination of him being tired and teams having him completely scouted and I added that this year he will have less competition being his starting position secured and this could be synonymous of less motivation.
I think he is the type of player the give his best when he is motivated. Hopefully he is just taking lightly the preseason.

In addition I wrote in a previous post that he could be tired because he played many games with French NT in summer, but as usual you read only what suits you.

I meant the entire Jazz team played with less pressure after the All-Star break.

OK my excuse for the Jazz tonight and brilliant move by OKC

Gobert and Favors sucked because they were jacked up for Kanter playing ,than OKC announced they were *resting* Kanter and the air went out on them (Gobert/Favors)and contributed to their poor start and effort
