What's new

Ok this game will be fun ,Tuesday OKC vs Utah

Love that Snyder is keeping his head on straight. He is so dialed in its amazing to see. I believe that he will push this team to be championship caliber. Even if that means riding our best players or pushing for a trade.

He really really has a knack for player development. Those quotes are a great testament to that. Exactly what this team needs really, great hire.

You nailed it. It definitely is going to be a process but Coach Quin is the guy to lead us there. Even if the Jazz have a some tough stretches this season with 4, 5 straight losses - I will feel comfortable as a fan knowing that they're headed in the right direction. Can you imagine Tyrone Corbin saying something like that after a game? That guy was so bad. It's a damn shame the Jazz didn't hire Coach Quin two years prior to when they did.

I agree. I would love to be in a practice to see how they address FTs, 3s in the flow of the O, if Gobert and Favors have improved their shot...

First of all I didn't write that he sucks so stop trolling.

Somebody wrote that he is struggling due to a combination of him being tired and teams having him completely scouted and I added that this year he will have less competition being his starting position secured and this could be synonymous of less motivation.
I think he is the type of player the give his best when he is motivated. Hopefully he is just taking lightly the preseason.

In addition I wrote in a previous post that he could be tired because he played many games with French NT in summer, but as usual you read only what suits you.

I meant the entire Jazz team played with less pressure after the All-Star break.

Good news we can only have to see you again next time Jazz play Kanter team. You can't get inside me!

Look, there's no way around it dude. It was straight up stupid to suggest that Gobert is struggling because Kanter is gone, and it was straight up stupid to suggest that Gobert is struggling because of more pressure. Just own up to it.

There is plenty of pressure for Gobert to perform well. He will be looking at a 100 million extension in July if he replicates the second half of last year.

Quin confirmed my words in the last two paragraphs!! So shut up "KD's family" and bring respect!

...?

Did Quin say that Gobert is struggling because Kanter isn't there? Or did he say that Gobert is struggling because there's more pressure now (in the preseason, lol)?

Sorry dude, your argument is a mess. Just own up to it.

Keep trolling and changing the words....you have no alternative to save your face.

Didn't get to watch the game but based on the box score and highlights it looks like Durant is back to his old self.

I'm sure it was probably mentioned but The Thunder had 21 TO to our 11. Of course, they shot 57% from the field and out rebounded us for the win.

It looks like Gobert is being called for a lot of ghost fouls, which is leading him to be more timid and not himself. Favors has played really bad too, he's shooting like 38% this preseason.

As one of Trey's biggest critics on this board I gotta say he impressed me tonight. A lot less ball stopping, much better passing, and very few bad shot attempts. If he can play this way on offense I don't mind him sticking around. I still think Exum is a far superior prospect and defensively Exum is 10X the player Burke is. But Burke was good tonight.
.
This was the 1st pre-season game I bothered to watch. So has he been better all preseason or was it a one game fluke?

Exum is really overrated by some including you ;-)(10x the player Burke is? come on man you're better than that), and Burke isn't as bad as the haters made him out to be. Let's be honest here if Exum put up the exact same numbers this pre-season as Burke has, the Exum homers would be wetting themselves.

But I give you credit Greg, you did give Trey his props. You're one of my top 5 posters on this board, so I do look out for your posts. We disagree on the Exum issue, but in the end we're both happy to have him.
