OKC Kanter: 15.8/10.2/2.2 FG 57%

Like Tarkanian said. As a turkish member of this community i havo to say that i am tired of all these kanter threads. he is doing fine as the jazz are. Ibaka makes him better with his range and his elite rim protection. Favors unfortunately couldn't because he is not elite in either category but still decent! Gobert is a kind of a gamechanger and Enes a nice piece for OKC or complementary for Ibaka.

So time to move on and stop the kantermania...

I don't think some of you realize what the true reason for trading him was. It was never because he sucked. We all knew he was a double double machine. But the Jazz just did not have enough money to pay for both he and Gobert. We have talked about Kanter's upcoming free agency for months now. Most of us realized that Kanter was going to be too expensive. Gobert's emergence and Kanter's complaining only sealed the deal.

So yay. He's doing exactly in OKC what he was doing here. Cheerio. But in the end, if OKC doesn't win it all and they can't hold onto Kanter this summer, who won that trade? Would there be any question? Food for thought!

You know, I think the primitive offense of OKC is better than our system. It lets the talented basketball players perform their best.

Along with Kanter, I think Exum would be better in an OKC environment. He has to think way too much in this Jazz system and it's rattled him to the point that he can no longer make wide open threes. I honestly feel a lot of this is Snyder's fault. Sure he developed Exum into a good defensive player, but he's done an absolute horrible job when it comes to his development on the offensive end.
Our system is like the spurs and hawks system.
You know that right?

You also know that the jazz don't have durant and westbrook on thier roster right? Those guys play for the Oklahoma city thunder

just a symptom of a perpetual rebuild. i hear paul millsap aint doin too shabby either. matthews, etc.
who will be the next victim of the perp rebuild? maybe alec. jazz is just becomin a developmental team.
thx alot mgmt.
Do Burks, favors and Hayward play for a different team than the jazz? I forget the jazz letting them walk so they could sign with another team.

It wasn't because of money. The cap is going to jump significantly over the next two years. Kanter got traded because he wanted out and keeping him to increase his value would've meant continuing to start him over the guy who deserved the starting spot. Bad situation, otherwise I doubt Utah would have yielded to Kanter's wishes.

Jesus, stop making ****ing Kanter threads people. Anyone who does should be banned.

I am well aware. However, without Duncan, the Spurs system would not have won any championships. I prefer the other teams that won who have less complicated systems.

And even without KD and Westbrook, Kanter was still able to play well. He is better able to use his talent in that system since he doesn't have to focus on so many things and can instead feel the game out. Maybe Exum will be able to do fine in our system once he can do it in his sleep, but as of now I think he would play better in a less complicated system.

I honestly didn't understand why Exum has just to focus on his defensive game and neglect a bit his offensive game.
Both things should go hand in hand. In addition Exum is not an offensive weapon so he has to develop his offense too.
