Until we have our biggest draft in ????????

Then, no Summer League, maybe an entire season vacated (likely a ton), and a loooong time to see our new team play .. soak it all in, now.

No trades. Kanter and then Burks or Fredette, depending on who's available. Other possibilities include Hamilton. There, now you don't have to be so on edge as you wait.

Does anyone really think we'll take Kanter over Knight? I see it constantly talked about, but this org. seems to do the Knight type thing ..

We are starting in on the 2012 draft right after this years. The Jazz would have 11 (GS) and 12 (Us) if there is no season, and Stern keeps the order the same (with a lottery redraw). We will need your insight on Terrence Jones, Marquis Teague, Michael Gilchrist, and Anthony Davis.

Absolutely. We are taking Kanter.

The Jazz have to come out of this draft with a big. If they think they can count on a Valanciunas, Tristan Thompson or a Biyombo being available at 12 then I think they go for Knight at #3. If they DON'T think they can get a big at #12 then I think they go for Kanter at #3 and then go for a guard at #12.

Sheeeesh, I dunno .. I already have a lot of info, met them all, they're on campus, traveling on the team plane 8 times in the coming year, but this site is brutal .. no lie.

All you hear is Utah Jazz and Brandon Knight, Utah Jazz & Brandon Knight, Utah Jazz & Brandon Knight. I think they throw everyone a curve ball and draft Kanter.

Sadly, yes. This organization has a history of taking slow, tall, white guys.

For the 20th time it is Kanter. At this point KOC isn't hitting pop flies to advance runners -- he's swinging for the fences.

I think its apparant the jazz are not high on kanter. Tons of posters here are, but i hope that when knight is selected he is embraced as a jazzman and not booed like the classless fans we can be. So embarassed that people were booing hayward. Not cool.

Except Kanter isn't slow. He is actually pretty quick and athletic. And what does skin color have to do with anything? Didn't Dallas just win the NBA Championship with a tall, athletic, white foreigner as their best player or am I on drugs?

Kanter is not swinging for the fences, it like throwing a hailmary.

However you view it. I think Kevin knows the only way he builds a contender is through the draft. We just landed the 3rd pick and it's doubtful we'llever have that kind of luck again. If he believes Knight to have Deron caliber potential then obviously he would take him, but I have a hard time thinking he'd settle for Harris caliber if he feels that's the safe pick. I know people are looking at our cautious history but this is a completely different playing field. If what's at stake is a solid PG, I think he's going for the gamble.
