What's new

One last Trump thread

So.. quick question...

Anyone know what Trump's gonna be sitting around doing for the next 70 days? I mean he's President Elect but Obama is still THE president, right? How does it work?

Trump's got to put together his staff, decide on cabinet nominations, get up to speed on national security stuff, decide on his Supreme Court nominee, and meet with congressional leaders to decide laws that will be proposed right at the start. Maybe a few other things that I missed.

You're naive and a sore loser seeking comfort in the form of trolling an internet forum.

Anyone looking at what just took place objectively would have to conclude that Trump ran a masterful campaign, and helped Shillary run hers into the ground.

What exactly do these videos prove? Enlighten us. That what we've seen the last few months is all a charade and their buddies? is that your point? Or is your point that Trump is a liar (and Shillary was the last bastion of truth)??

Why did many of the democrats that voted for Obama not vote for Hillary? Were they unaware of the consequences?

If I was in the shoes of a jilted loser such as yourself, that's the question I'd be asking. Not wondering why he wanted to run, which is a topic that the sun set on 2 summers ago.. Thats how far behind you are on this conversation. Last June.

I'm a registered republican. I'm not a sore loser. I have no problem with Trump. I was just thinking last week how much I was going to miss the Trump campaign, which has been very entertaining and may never be topped in that regard. I'm not a troll at all. I enjoy following politics, but I don't get all emotional about it. It doesn't make sense to me why anyone ever does.

Even though you called me all those names, I'll answer your questions anyway.

Trump's campaign is going to finish with fewer votes than Hillary, Romney, McCain, both Obama campaigns, and even the Bush campaign 12 years ago. That's masterful? Hillary got something like 6 million fewer votes than Obama got just 4 years ago. Seems pretty obvious that was the decisive factor in the election. The Obama voters didn't like her and they didn't show up. I don't know why. It's not my thing.

Trump is a businessman, right? A salesman. He says what he thinks you want to hear. All politicians do that, of course, but the videos show me that Trump is even moreso than the usual politician. It makes sense, really, he's never been a politician, why would he have any convictions about politics? That's bad for business anyway. In business just go with the flow, right? Play both sides. In the videos he tells the audience what they want to hear. Obama and Clinton were flying high, so he just played along. If you think Trump was interested in your right-wing politics don't you think he would have run sometime before the age of 70 years old? And maybe he would not have contributed to Hillary's campaigns, and invited her to his wedding, and praised her and Obama on TV, and so on.

Your posts were stupid and ignorant and continue to be so, I'll keep responding accordingly. Save the holier than thou act for someone who cares.

Politicians say what they think you want to hear. brilliant. Did Trump not say that he wished he ran against Obama in 2012 many times over? The chronology of your revisionist history is obviously off.

Being the president is bad for business:confused::confused::confused::confused: C'mon now.. You've gotta be ****ing kidding me.

Right wing politics? That has very little to do with what just took place. If his campaign was focused on right-wing politics it would've probably failed.

The campaign wasn't masterfully run? who's deluded here me or you? Did he not effectively pull the rug out from under her feet during the moment of truth???

You sound surprised he's not infallible.

He'll be interviewing potential cabinet members, then will choose a select few to go on individual dates to get to know them better. After that, he will choose a very small amount to take home and introduce to his family. Then with all of that out of the way comes the Presidential Cabinet Rose Ceremony, which believe me you will not want to miss.

This makes more sense to me now:

Lol at pg_ab puffing out his chest and talking smack. Hate to break it to you, but the loser got more votes than your hero oompa loompa.

Hillary got more votes, and Trump only won because of a flaw in the system that he himself has complained about. TOTAL VICTORY!!!

I think Trump has been trying to get out of this thing almost the entire way, and just keeps failing forward.

All of his many, many opponents in the primary turned out to be absolute pushovers, every single one. The slightest attack and they just withered. Who was left standing? Wackjobs like Cruz, Kasich, and Carson. He ends up winning the primaries even though he only won 44% of the vote, and he was running unopposed at the end!

Meanwhile the other party is running a geezer Vermont socialist against a woman that no one can stand and has more baggage than a 747. What does Trump do? He unleashes an avalanche of gaffes, attempting to offend every conceivable voting bloc there is. When the gaffes don't end his campaign he proceeds to tank all three debates. That'll do it for sure, right? Nope, wikileaks and the FBI sweep in to prop him up again.

Finally, trailing in every poll, a huge swath of Democrats offer up the coup de grace and skip the election entirely. He wins, despite getting fewer votes than his opponent! He can't lose even when he lost!

At the victory party it looked like Trump didn't even give a damn. I kind of feel for the guy. It's only four years!

Reminds me of this season of south park.

Like all the other 9,232,436 posts calling Trump names like Hitler and all the like? lol..
Two wrongs dont make a right. If you cant beat em join em. when in rome and all that. #classy
I can't figure out why Trump even wanted to be President. He's already a celebrity. He had his own plane. The White House is a dump compared to Trump Tower. He had plenty of business to go back to. He doesn't seem interested in public policy or governing. He obviously enjoys campaigning, but there's no more of that now. The pay is terrible. His *****-grabbing lifestyle is better served walking around backstage at beauty contests. Here's the new reality:

I'm predicting one-and-done for President Trump.
This. If i were trump there is no way i would want to be president. Being president seems like a pretty crummy gig. Tons of pressure and stress and criticism and no matter what you do at least half of the whole country will hate you.
