hey there was a bloke in the aussie rules footy the other week who's had 4 knee reconstructions on the same knee and finally started getting a stretch of games together and playing well and his ACL in the other knee went ...

It was 5 knee recos and it was his second game back. Poor prick i'd have some sympathy for him but he plays for Sydney so stuff him.

LOL, she's real.

Just as an update, somebody here mentioned a while ago that I should cook something for her since she's always bring stuff over and cooking for me.

So far I've cooked for her twice now. The first meal I cooked was a couple of weeks ago. It was grilled salmon glazed with sweet chilli sauce, with avocado & oranges salads and potatoe/mint salad. (photo below of the 2 plates, one of the picture has a bit of her in it and that's all you guys are gonna see.. LOL..)

Then last night I cooked a spicy Thai fish soup with vegetables, and steamed eggs with pork, have with rice. I forgot to take a photo of that dish though.

We've also went out to a light show we've had here in Christchurch last week. Afterwards we had a nice coffee at the Art Centre cafe, it was a really nice atmosphere with half of Christchurch out at night having a great time.

She does have lots of friends and interests (snowboarding, gym) so it's been hard trying to find time with her but hopefully once the snowboarding season finishes next month I'll get some more time to spend with her.

I need to see a photo of her holding a current newspaper, like they do with hostages and such, which i'm almost certain she is. Have you met her parents? I'm sure the grief they must feel is almost overwhelming.
 
This is a pretty cool milkshake we had together 2 weeks ago.... The couple next to us was so impressed the guy quickly ordered one straight after us. (the guy looked like a deadringer for Dynamo).

Thanks man, she gave me a nice big hug the other day before we had the meal. It meant a lot to me cos I don't normally cook (I'm more of a eat out kinda guy) and I had to make an effort.. ^__^

Well we both had sat down and were about to eat, then she suddenly got up, walked around the table to give me a nice long hug...

We've sat around and cuddled and do other things in the past, but this to me felt really special.
