I always hear people saying that they are ok with a loss as long as the player work/play HARD!
Well if we judge corbin the same way then i think he is doing ok...... Everytime the camera shows him, it seems like he is talking (coaching) to his players and always seems interested and involved in the game.
I remember the last few years that alot of the time sloan would just be gazing off into space with his mouth open as if he didn't know where he was.

Anyone who is drawing conclusions about Corbin after a ridiculously short training camp and preseason is ridiculous. He has 5 rookies and sophomores to deal with, and a group of ragtag veterans. Give the dude some time.

Very true. The first step to being a good coach is the ability to GET THE PLAYERS ATTENTION. The fact virtually the entire team came back from the off-season in much better condition is a good sign. Coach Ty is very involved with each and every player from what I have seen. And as far as managements committment to providing fans with a competitive product on the floor, signing Josh Howard was a positive sign. Until all these young guys learn to play as a TEAM, knowing instinctively when to get their teammates the ball on offense and where to go defensively, we will struggle againt the more experienced teams. Which is darn near the entire WEST... We'll get better over time... It just takes time...

I love when we played Portland in the first preseason game and CJ Miles missed a defensive assignment. I could hear someone yelling from the bench and Ty pulled him out of the game and ripped him a new one. You have to admit, Ty is working hard to turn things around. But, like he said after the game. "It's gonna be a long year."

He did the same thing with Burks when he lost Kobe on an inbounds play switch. I think Ty is the right man for the job, his biggest challenge will be keeping them together through this tough stretch. I predict we have at least another month or so of pure suckage, before everyone starts coming together.

why would the coach say its going to be a long year? YOU HAVE TO BE POSITIVE even when you dont have any reason to be.That statement is a firable offense, its bad for team moral and only said to take the pressure off himself.

....yeah, he was thinking to himself: "How did I get stuck with these brain dead uncoachable dummies?"

You have to be honest too. The team knows it is going to be a long year. They know they have work to do. Publicly acknowledging it is not a bad thing. And it does not mean he is being negative, he is simply stating fact.

Corbin needs to be the leader of this team, and honest open communication is a key to true leadership.

this team is not nearly as bad as they look on the court, and with the right leadership they wouldnt be playing like the worst team in basketball. The one positive for Corbin is he is trying,he just doesnt have a clue how to coach and he is not a leader of men,he was just in the right place at the right time and lucked out with the job.

One positive I liked last night. When Hayward let his man blow right by him and just put his arms up, Corbin jumped off the bench and started chewing his *** right away.

As frustrated as I am with Ty, I think we as fans need to give him the same opportunity that Sloan had. Give it some time. If he's still making the same mistakes by the end of next season, then we have a problem.

Honesty is offensive. You read it here.

This thread is way to rational sans three complete morons. Time to ban all but the three total idiots.

I watched the post game last night and Ty said "It's a long season" his quote is being misused, he was referring to the opportunity for the team to learn and grow together NOT hey you guys expect to see this every game this team sucks so it is gonna be a long season as is being portrayed in some peoples posts.
