What's new

OPJ FTW

I don't want to undersell OP's health issue. He has a hip issue he has to get continual treatment on... has been an issue since college I believe. He may not be a guy you want to rely on.
Meanwhile Conley was available for 65% of games this year.

Just saying if you are hoping he could a long term keeper... the injury long term would concern me

Very good base here. I'm not sure why Chicago dumps Markkanen for this, but most of the rest is realistic. Take out Markkanen and most of the picks to Chicago, and it looks like a fair trade.
They'd definitely get picks. The horford deal requires sweetners.

I don't think Chicago is looking to move Lauri at all... so definitely take him out.

What do I not know about Markkanen and Chicago? This has come up in the last couple of days and I have no idea why they’d trade him.
He ain't getting moved... especially not for what we could afford to put in a deal. If they draft another big then it gets a little crowded. If they moved him I'm thinking it would be for picks.

I think Philly would do Al Horford, Zhaire Smith, and their 2021 1st for Mike Conley... so would Chicago take that Philly package for OP Jr.? If you are saying add in our first (draft night after we can select for them) then I think they'd have a hard time saying no to that tbh. Just depends on their long-term cap plans.

Al to Chicago makes a lot of sense. Gives them a defensive presence in the frontcourt to help Carter Jr. grow and develop. Helps their young guards with his amazing/semi-legal screening. Might depend on what they do in the draft too.

Al makes no sense for the Bulls imo. They’re a potential FA destination if they have money. They’re not winning now. It makes no sense to take on that awful contract/player. He stinks.

Play the young guys 32+ a night, see what you have, and go from there.
