SVG and Otis Smith are out. It's either building the franchise in Dwight's image OR tearing that ****er down that is in.

We have that TPE, and it has always seemed destined to get involved with the **** brewing in Orlando.

Any reactions?
 
If they fired the GM and SVG (technically they parted ways) I think they are going to build around Howard.
 
Ehh. I don't really like anyone on that team very much (except Dwight, of course.). Ryan Anderson? He's not going anywhere, probably, and we don't need him either.

Marcin Gortat was the last person I had any interest in on that team (that was even remotely available).

Yeah, looking at their roster I don't see anybody either. But there should be some three-team trades... which are much harder to speculate about. I wonder what kind of demands Dwight is going to make?
 
If their plan is to do roster moves to keep Dwight, the only guy on that team that should be safe is Ryan Anderson. So, yeah, no.
 
Looks like they are caving in for Dwight. Too bad for them that he is not a guy that can lead them to the promise land. Even with DWill if they go that route.
 
First move the Jazz should make is fire Corbin and hire Stan Van Gundy! At least the guy knows how to coach and motivate and is FANTASTIC for after game interviews!

They get another big star (like Dwill and the right role players) I think they might win a championship.

Mark this occasion, Carolina and I agree. SVG is who I want out of the rubble.
 
I wouldn't mind having Glen Davis. As it stands now, we don't need him, but perhaps our situation will change.

It's really only Anderson and Davis that interest me on any level.

The big question is what big star? DWill or CP3 plus Dwight will not get them to the finals IMO. They ultimately need a Kobe type player to match up with Dwight and there aren't a whole lot of those guys to be had.
 
I wonder if D Will goes to Orlando.
That team is crap, I'm real surprised they even made it to the playoffs.

Any and all players who can't man up and be accountable are going to feel alienated at some point. It's in their nature. And Howard has no mirrors in his mansion.
 
Sad to see players take over teams and have all the control. Then they end up still being a baby when they find out they don't win (Cough Wade). Ultimately Dwight is going to leave and demand a trade to NJ.
