For the benefit of everyone else, it appears to be "on demand," meaning that you can watch it anytime and don't have to be available at the scheduled game time.

[Maybe they'll even cut out the dead time for on-demand viewing ...]

That is what i am doing but my guess is you have to wait a day or so for it to show up on demand. If i remember right and i am not sure on this but i am pretty sure comcast had it on their demand last year. Had to wait a day for it to show up though.

My guess is that several players will play for several summer league teams a la Wesley Matthews last year.

Our newest draft pick Gordie is going to kill it in Summer League shutting up a lot of doubters. Now when he starts to shine in the regular season, well that would just be spectacular now wouldn't it?

Do you need to be an NBALP subscriber to watch these on demand a couple days after the fact for free?

Question: When does our regular season schedule come out?

I am leaning toward coming out for 3-4 days and a couple games this year and would prefer they're two solid teams and back-to-back or at least two games in three nights.

Have the Jazz signed anyone?
Maybe I should give them a call. I'm probably better than whoever hasn't been signed by other teams at this point.

Not much chance of finding a "Wesley Matthews" this season. KOC, Perrin and Rigby were too busy licking their wounds after getting mauled by the ESA crowd, I guess. Seriously, did they make ANY calls after the draft? Or are they content with adding Hayward and "what's his name" as replacements for Boozer and Korver and then filling the 12th and 13th spots with Gaines and Jeffers?

Yes, that's the one and only obvious, logical answer to your question.

The Bobcats seem to have a very nice summer league roster with Collins and Gilstrap.

No OKC vs. Jazz matchup? Odd.

Tyrese Rice, Demetris Nichols and Rod Benson are listed at the Jazz summer league roster on the ridiculous upside website.

Will it be a combined roster again or are the Jazz fielding their own team?

And why do I have all this empty space between my post and signature? I feel like a space ho.

Rice is an undersized point who dropped 46 in a game against North Carolina his senior year. Nichols was a second round pick of Portland about 3 years ago and has bounced around. Benson played in the DLeague last year for Reno and averaged 24 and 16 in the playoffs. All 3 have college degrees. Nichols from the Cuse and Benson from Cal. Benson is 6'10" and 220.

Benson's nickname is: Boom Tho.
"Rod Benson is a co-founder of the so-called "Boom Tho Movement", a loose organization devoted to the philosophy of "having fun, being ridiculous, and being yourself". Along with fellow student Jason "JGant" Gant, Benson has produced several music videos for YouTube based on the movement. According to Benson, his catchphrase "Boom Tho!" is defined as "an occurrence of an uncommonly good thing." Benson even sells "Boom Tho" memorabilia on his site, and has designed multiple t-shirts adorned with "Boom Tho" logos."

I'm hoping this guy gets an invite to training camp - and I'll bet all the media writers are too. Can you see the Jazz with Boom Tho, Boom Bitch and Fes all on the same team? That might actually lead to Sloan having a nervous breakdown.

If KOC can't trade for a big, Jazz could always sign Boom Tho to a non-guaranteed contract. Keep him through December, or until they're sure Memo is back to 90-100%. Sounds like this guy might be able to contribute minutes. Here's a linK:

I wanted Rice pretty badly last year with our 2nd round pick, i'm excited to see what he can do!

You forgot to mention he averaged 1.7 blocks and he is a great post defender. Woudnt surprise me at all if we signed him.

I also wanted Rice with the 2nd rounder. I think he is better than Gaines and is a very good defender, Sloan will love him

Agree, dwill. Benson and Rice could easily make the team instead of Gaines and Jeffers.
Gaines hit ONE big shot. Highlight of the season, IMO. But other than that, he didn't much. Poor shooter and can't hit a FT to save his life. He also struggles getting the Jazz into their offense. You gotta love Jeffers' story, but in reality he's a 6'5" PF. Unless he's learned to shoot, I don;t see him as anything other than the 13th man.

If Benson can tone it down a bit, he's got a shot. From what I read he's a bit goofy off court (like Fes). And you know how that sits with Jerry.

Benson sounds more intriguing than Jeremy Evans frankly, but I guess we'll get to see both so it doesn't really matter.

So the Jazz have 6 players right now? Only about 12 more to go, right?
