What's new

Our Utah Jazz @ the San Antonio Rabid Bat Murderers 4/2, 1:30 PM Mountain on ABC

Thanks pops for resting Lamarcus, Green, and Manu. Too bad he couldn't have thrown Kawhi in the mix. Spurs B team have still proven to be formidable.

Plus the jazz might be using some b teamers as well if hill is out (plus favs being out)

We've been using our b team all year long.

When was the last time Hill played? When was the last time he played more than 2 games? It seems like he hasn't cared much ever since the jazz didn't offer to break the bank and resign him.

And favors? Is he even alive? I've basically eliminated favors from my jazz roster. At this point, Lyles seems to have a brighter nba future than favors.

Excellent. While they are OUT, Churro is IN!

pls give up ur medical career and go into churro marketing full time

spurs do not seem to res players. they are locked into 2nd seed. and no matter what happens they only concede home-court to the warriors. so maybe pops starts resting ginobli, parker, aldridge, gasol. waiting for the news report on it

I don't know of any Jazz fan that wants us to win while the Spurs are resting players. The whole point of every game is overcoming adversity and when your resting the players that make it difficult for you to win, it's not really a win, it just looks that way on paper.

I have an idea. Let's hope that POP plays everybody and we still kick their ***. ;)

I feel your frustration with Hill. It's hard watching a guy of his caliber only play in 50 games the whole year. But also you never know how a players body breaks down. You would think only 9 years in the NBA and 30 years old, he would have a lot more duability than what he has shown. However you look at players from the past like Isiah Thomas and after 13 years he said that he was broken down and had nothing left.
I'm not saying that Hill is there, but you never know about the time that the team has with them. Perhaps the Jazz are making sure that he is fully healthy come playoff time? I don't agree with him sitting out so many games, but we don't know what his body is telling him to do.

D. Favors upsets me, because after coming back from injury, his is clearly way out of shape and lacking that same drive that he had prior to the injury. We need an overall better effort out of our entire team.

it just looks that way on paper.

A W is a W. Not Jazz's fault that Popovich or some other coach decides to sit his players. If they do not want to be considered that they have lost it, they better play all their hands.

Worse is that you still lose when they sit everyone. And this is always possible when Spurs are the case.

Favors, Hill, Neto ruled out. Hope Mack and X can slow down Mills. I'm not terribly worried about Old Man Parker.

The ascent back to greatness begins today against the formerly great Spurs. It's a changing of the guard, and the Jazz will assume their place as the next dominant team in the league for the foreseeable future.

Oh please. Sure I'd like to whip a full strength Spurs team. But I'll take a win over a depleted Spurs team as well. Jazz need "5" and I don't really care how they get there. It's still a W

You've been ****ing ridiculous since O Gatino. Please take your sedatives regularly and forget what the internet is. TIA

Aldridge, Manu and Green are all sitting, and Murray is out too but been out.

Didnt Adam Silver come out and make a statement about resting guys on national games? That the national TV reps are getting pissed? Pop DGAF lol.

Though dramatic, he does have a point. 3 of our 5 starters have missed a combined 79 games this year. The fragility of Hood, Hill, and Favors have made consistency a pipe dream for this year.

Only one dude is resting for them (Manu, the super old one). The others have legitimate injuries.
