So, Burks is gone. He will probably feel that he is better than the players in front of him and he will bolt to another team to prove it. Also, his personality is the most prone to looking to the bright lights. (reference: twitter remarks)
 
It's insane that a player wouldn't try to get the most money they could.

If the Jazz are ready to pay as much as another team, this literally isn't a question for another 5 years.

It obviously is a question of how much the Jazz are willing to pay to keep the guys together. The Millers seriously need to start playing the lottery or figure out some way to get a nice financial windfall to help the cause.
 
Before we talk about players staying for less money, let's see them frickin win something.

No point staying for less money unless you collectively exhibit the ability to play at a high level.

Otherwise I wouldn't blame any of them for taking not one cent below market value - wherever that may be.

That's not on the players. The way the question is posed sure seems to pin this on the players and I think that's ridiculous.

Again, at the end of the day, this is in the Jazz's hands. Not the players. Essentially.
