Overrated Actresses/Actors

I dont know if Cage is rated that highly, but every movie he is in is terrible (besides Faceoff, great movie).

Well, he did win an Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas. And yeah, whether or not he deserved the award is debatable, it's hard to say he's terrible in every movie.

I think Cage is a decent actor who has been working for a paycheck for many years. He seems to take a lot of parts that are not suited for him or are just plain garbage - probably because Hollywood keeps offering him roles.

Robert DeNiro has had the same problem for about the past 20 years.

Steve Carell. Seriously, can the guy do anything but Michael Scott? Leaving the Office will be the biggest mistake of his life. Crazy Stupid Love was his first OK movie but it wasn't really because of him.

Anybody who wants to cast her in anything instead of wanting to shoot her in face is wrong.

Also Little Miss Sunshine - which I thought Carell was very good in.

He was good in Sunshine, but in Schumcks he was just another off the wall goofball like Michael Scott is.

Also, I forgot about Raising Arizona for Nicholas Cage, but again earlier in his career. Recent stuff blows.

In Dinner for Schmucks I thought Carrell played a deeper character than the script called for. He brought more reality to it than I expected, at least. He really wasn't much like Michael Scott because the character in DFSch was no where near as shallow as Michael Scott, imo.

Wow you lose on so many of these but one I have a huge issue with Adam Sandler = Great (Saturday Night Live, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Waterboy, Wedding Singer, Bulletproof, Anger Management, The Longest Yard) - All great flicks

Sandler is a great actor when he wants to be. **** his comedies, he was fantastic in Punch Drunk Love and Spanglish. Even in Funny People (despite that movie being about an hour too long with a script that just goes nuts).

Sandler is great too. From his early goofy stuff, to his more serious roles. I thought he made the transition from comedy actor to actor better than most.

Forgot about Anger Management. Love the scene with the Iverson fan.
