Pacers Heat

Hainsbporough foul was not that bad.
Heat overreacted..
Haslem should have been tossed.
Right after that, LeBron gave a twisted ankle to a Pacers player that took him out of the game.
I can't prove it, but I strongly suspect that was intentional too.

The Pacers have had some of the worst offensive execution I have seen in the playoffs this year for the past 6 quarters.

and yet they were right there in this game until the sequence I described above (end of Q2, Game 5, series tied 2-2 at that point)
I guess the Pacer player was an important one, they are getting killed in Q3.

Granger landed on Lebron's foot after he took a quick ill-advised 3 pointer with Lebron right in his face. It was Granger's fault for taking a bad shot.

shot selection is no excuse for dirty play, whatsamatta wit u

It wasn't a dirty play. Lebron as glued to him and Granger took an ill-advised shot, jumping into Lebron's space. What is Lebron suppose to do? Back-up and let him have the shot? It was a poor attempt to either hit a 3 in his eyes, or a poor attempt to draw a foul by landing on him. Either way it was a bad choice and he suffered the consequences. Get out of your blind hate for the Heat, they are flat outplaying the Pacers while the Pacers are playing into their game by taking terrible shots and not feeding their post players.

it was a dirty play, just like the others were, 3 instances of trying to injure the opponent, JMO.

i have no blind hate for the heat , you have no idea what you are talking about, carolina had practically turned me into a Heat fan, but I can't support a dirty team that has the refs favor them, and after seeing them tonight I can no longer support them this year.

If they play the Spurs, I hope both teams lose.

Roy Hibbert in a post game interview indicated that the Pacers made some hard fouls tonight.

So maybe they had it coming...
but i don't think so, I've got to go with what I saw, and what I saw was the Heat overreacting and going overboard with the dirty stuff.
I think Hibbert was referring mostly to the Hainsborough foul, which was not that bad...

Both team made hard fouls. The play Granger got injured on was in no way dirty. Stop being a fool.

Stop being a weiner. We can disagree. You don't know what you are talking about and you've proven it 10,000 times.
No need to insult me just because we disagree.

it was close , anybody's game , until just before the sequence in the OP.

I said I suspect it was a dirty play by LeBron, I am not sure, but what he did is the best way to injure someone without repercussions.

The most foolish thing said here is your assertion that the Indiana player may have been trying to land on LeBron's foot.

Not really, it's a common technique done to draw fouls on 3pt shots. Go watch Jamall Crawford, players purposely extend their legs to land a slight bit further ahead than they usually do so they draw contact. Granger failed and just landed on his foot.

The play where Granger got hurt didn't seem like a dirty play to me. I don't think LeBron intentionally got under him nor did it look like an attempt by Granger to draw a foul. That said, I think LeBron should have been called for a foul as he was moving toward Granger and I believe the defender is supposed to give the shooter room to land. That point aside I think Miami definitely overreacted to the Hansbrough foul. I'm rooting for the Heat to come out of the east, but I think Haslem and Dexter Pittman should be suspended for game 6.

I did just see the end of game Pittman flagrant. That was really dirt and uncalled for. I suspect Stern will come down hard on him and Haslem tomorrow.

Disappointed at the untimely injuries for the Pacers. I really hoped the Pacers would take it to LeChoke in this series.
Well looks like either Thunder or Spurs would have to do the job for me.

Why assume that Miami will be in the finals? When was the last time they beat Boston?

If there is any team that Boston can beat, it is Miami. Especially if they don't have Bosh. Boston can lock them down, play slow, play physical, execute, and Rondo can dominate.

Seriously folks, Boston might struggle against everyone else in the playoffs OTHER than Miami. They matchup well, already are in Miami's heads, and have dominated Miami all season long.
